Oh, does anyone know if the Magic/Castaway cay/terminal will be decorated for Christmas for our cruise?? Isn't it right after ours for the Thanksgiving cruise that they usually decorate it?
It seems like they do it earlier, but I could be wrong....

I made a mistake on our room numbers for the FE. It's rooms 6612 and 6614, not room 6120 and 6122. I got the cruises mixed up. I realized it when the cruise documents arrived. I am so sorry if this caused any confusion. We have 3 cruises booked and I just got the room numbers crossed.

So it rooms 6612 and 6614 for photocjr...

I am sorry if someone responded to this but my guess (and mind you only a guess) is that it will be done. Someone reported earlier on this thread (or, I have been hanging around with Linda and I have my cruises mixed up) that the ship would be decorated already for the holiday. I would think that the terminal would go hand in hand with that. On our Wonder reunion trips that took place from the Wed. prior to Thanksgiving -it was decorated then.

! Awesome group and we are going to have a grand time, yes, MAGICal indeed.

Two weeks from today we will be on our way. We are going down to stay with DS2 (wedding #1 for those keeping track) in Greenville taking them a big pan of lasagna for their trouble and then we fly out Friday morning at 7:45. I can't believe it is so close.

Thank so much Glindamood, when I called today to DCL, they said that the Magic's date of being decorated is still listed as undetermined, but they said that the Wonder will be decorated on November 8, and said that usually the Magic gets done about the same time. I hope you're right!!

XXcell, do you have a list of what you have or have not read? We have a ton of these authors books in the basement and I'd be happy to check the list against the stock.

Dh is reserve and when he was on active duty we almost got sent to Minot ND. Ended up in Anchorage Alaska instead. We didn't take any Disney trips while on that tour.

Is way easier to cruise when you live within driving distance. I've been in Florida for a year and way convenient for my DCL obsession.

We got picked for the DCL Houseparty too

Definately cruisin! That is so funny you even know the "saying" around here. We have been stationed here since 2001. Glad to hear you are feeling better, so you should be at 100% by cruisin time!

Of course we'll be on the ship, that's what will make our party so unique!!! And our party won't be JUST on the 14th, it'll be an all week party!! LOL

Tara - congrats also being selected. Bring your party kit (if it arrives before you leave for the ship) and we'll combine forces for the party.



So here's the plan for our DCL House party. Those of you that have been invited to mine and Tara's party, you're invitation should be arriving (they look just like the DCL Cruise docs, so don't forget them). You need your invitation to attend the party... no invitation, no party for you.

We'll have a large reception room (a.k.a. the DCL Terminal) for you to check in and mingle before the party begins. It should be decorated with Disney stuff, and I'l still trying to arrange the Christmas decorations.

Once you are allowed into the party ship (a.k.a. the Magic), they will take your picture, call out your name, and then you can feast on one of two buffet areas, swim in the pools, get your drinks, etc...

After that have fun, enjoy yourself, and enjoy the party we are throwing for you..... oh, but there will be a bill at the end you will have to settle with the ship.... Sorry..
