I am sooo sorry that I have not been around much and that I have not been able to chat for quite a while. I received a huge promotion at work last month (Plant Safety Manager) for two facilities, and I am trying to get settled here in my new position...two days after the offer was made to me OSHA was here for a surprise wall to wall inspection!! Talk about STRESS!!! I am going to need this cruise more than ever!!

I hope that all is well with everyone!!! I will try to get back into the chatting scene soon, however, next week I will be on a business trip to Arkansas.

I miss you all!!!!!

Hi everyone! DH had his wisdom teeth out today so I am home for the next couple of days playing nursemaid. I have a feeling it will get old pretty quick. The doctor said he was probably going to get pretty uncomfortable since it was not an easy extraction. Fortunalty I have two little helpers in orange bottles to help keep him pacified!!! Well, at least they won't hurt him on the cruise.
It is sad that every medical decision we are making these days revolves around November! They hurt him ONE weekend, and then he decides they need to come out NOW! He didn't want to deal with pain on the cruise.
Stupid me forgot to tape "According to Jim". We went to a board meeting and I totally spaced that I had not set up my vcr. It's not a show we regularly watch, but if they are going to show OUR ship....!
(in case you couldn't tell, I am lonely! DH is not much on conversation at the moment!!)

Don't worry about missing "Jim", I'm sure it will be on in reruns this summer. Plus you can see a lot better pictures here on this board. If you want to hear the sound of the Magic's horn, KarenNY, who hosts the cruisechat on Friday nights here, usually can be persuaded to play it for the chatters.

Feenie, we usually set a time to meet in IM chat and then Tugmom send out an invite. You just have to click in and start chatting. Tugmom can explain it better, she is our resident techie.

Cruisechat here on the Dis is usually on Friday nights. The mods usually post a thread and you can click on the link in the thread to get into the chat. The mods can help you if you have any trouble. They help me, and I'm a total doofus on the computer.

I can't tell you how funny it is to be called a techie!!!! I became a nurse so I wouldn't have to learn how to type!

Good spelling is optional (don't let HOP hear me say that ) and Hanno is right - I usually open a window that will send you an invite to chat...you say yes and you are in!

Aol does not have to be your provider. We usually chat on Tuesdays at 9:30 eastern.
