S, Ian isn't all that far from Dianne. We should figure out a day around Thanksgiving when we can get together and you can meet several members of this crew as we are invading Ian's for Thanksgiving dinner.

:thumbsup2

Sounds great..

Ian I used to live in Lakeview - on 3550 lake shore, Belmont , Roscoe, wellington etc.. lived there for years and years .. but now i am in Palatine..

3550 LSD? I know it well. We used to call it Tel Aviv Towers.

I used to live in Lakeview too, years ago, but now live up in Lincoln Square.

Hot off the press:

DCL accepting reservations for concierge guests
Hi, I had been reading this forum to learn more about the private cabanas. I have a 10/31/10 cruise reserved in a concierge suite and I called the concierge service today with a few questions. To my delight, I was able to reserve a cabana. They are currently taking reservations for concierge only but if space is available, they will open it up to other guests once onboard. There is currently only one tier of service available, and they are calling this their 'soft opening' time so things could change over time.

The price is $499 and includes the host, fruit, snacks, water, soft drinks, sunscreen, fluffy towels, fresh water shower, beach toys, tube and float rental, snorkel gear and a 1hr bike rental. Good for up to 6 people.

I thought the cabanas would be for eight people........

Sure has been quiet the past few weeks...how is everyone

So does this mean the chatty ones are currently on a cruise?

:woohoo:We're finally down to double digits for the Panama cruise! :woohoo:

I wish i was able to take a cruise before my cruise next year. I have to go to Miami for a graduation ceremony so that will take up some funds that i had planned to use on a "mini" vacation before our cruise.

I would love to do a Panama Canal cruise.... i am not sure if i could handle being on a boat that long! However, what better boat than to be on for that long....why Disney of course! LOL

i did the eb panama canal in 2008.. it was fabulous.. the canal is really something..

I was thinking the same thing about all those sea days, but we've always wanted to see the Canal so we're going for it.

That's great to hear!

 back at 'cha!

.....or....just concentrating on the cruise(s) that come before this one! :lmao:

I did the '08 WBPC and the '10 EBTA....pure heaven. :cloud9:

.

I guess that sounds like a good excuse since this cruise IS so FAR out there. I'm not sure I like your countdown to the Cruise to Nowhere since that means I have to get off the ship.

Well, you should have just added that 2 day on to your WBPC back when it was cheap! :lmao:

One of my cabinmates is on the PC with you (NotSoLittleMermaid). She'll have to pack up two weeks worth of stuff (in a cabin by herself) and then get crammed into a cabin with 3 other people. We've already found other friends on the 2 day who will store some of her luggage! At least she'll be moving up to a verandah cabin. I don't know if she posts much on the PC thread, but you should try and make a point of meeting her, she's a very nice lady! She'll be the grey haired lady with a giant camera strapped to her every moment of the day. AND she'll be on THIS cruise too! :thumbsup2

While you're sailing to nowhere we'll be playing at DL before we head home. :goodvibes

I'll keep an eye out for NotSoLittleMermaid (I love the name) you can tell her I'll be with the gray haired guy with wranglers and cowboy boots on. Maybe someday I'll get him in some summer clothes once in a great while.:rotfl:

No cruise here for a while, but very busy focusing on an upcoming trip to WDW. We'll be down there for 2 weeks!

And then you have to go home and start cooking my Thanksgiving dinner! :lmao:

...crikey, that's only 8 weeks away...where has this year gone?

It's flying by! I'll be losing some vital planning time while I'm away. I usually start the planning 6 weeks before.

Wanted to make sure everyone saw these recent pictures of the Dream:

Lots of shots of my porthole on deck 6 aft! :thumbsup2 I think I'm in a good spot. One deck from the kids area for the great neices, and two decks from the adult lounges for me! Hmmmmmmm I may only have to go to the front of the ship for the shows and to swim!
