11/06/11 Dream 4 Day

So my good friend that just got back last week from her WDW and DCL trip said that it was HOT HOT HOT and she will never go in September again to WDW or cruise. I think by the beginning of November we should be seeing GREAT temperatures for our trip. Probably in the 70s. I usually cruise the last week of November and the weather is mostly excellent. so, we will all have to keep our fingers crossed that we have great weather for our trip!

But, if we don't - I figure a bad day on a cruise is still better than being at work! :goodvibes

Pretty much the only thing I don't like about Phoenix is how looooooong it takes to break that 100 degree stretch! But in a few more weeks we will be gloating about dining al fresco at lunch while many of our friends are digging out their winter-wear.

.

Commence gloating in T minus 2 weeks!!! :thumbsup2

I just got our luggage tags in the mail!! I'm SOOOO excited! my mail has never made me so happy! :goodvibes

digging out the winter stuff..surely you jest..in chicago we were at a balmy 50 today..and for the rest of the week, it may be in the low 60s..

my Alaska stuff is coming in handy now..specially the nice jacket i bought in Juneau..,

We got ours too - had to hide them since they have our cabin number on them and I upgraded our room and my family doesn't know ;)

Our cruise "documents" arrived today. I'm rather surprised they came directly to us. This past April they sent them to our travel agent who had to then forward them on to us.

I know a young lady is who just asking to be sent to her room on pirate party night with no cake.

All this talk of cake makes me want some, make it chocolate cake, with mocha fudge frosting please. While your at it, how about one scoop of Ben and Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk ice cream.

But I hope I don't go near either one, until I visit WDW in about 4.5 weeks, and then watch out Ghiradelli or Beaches N Creme !

I wonder what kind of hard ice cream flavors they are scooping out on the DREAM tonight ? I read some thread where some people actually bring their own ice cream cones (empty of course) to the cruise.

Ok, I am feeling left out.....didn't get mine yet.

and to think those tags are a "pick me up" that is most desperately needed this week..... it has been a bad long week so far and it is only Tuesday....

I totally agree, any bad day on a cruise is better than being at work, as long as the ship is still floating!

Oh chocolate cake with mocha fudge frosting is right up my alley, yum yum.

Your not alone, our docs for this cruise haven't shown up yet either. So far we've only received the docs for 11/3. At least we have the luggage tags for the important one! I know my nieces have received their docs for both cruises already.

I am trying to add one of those fancy tickers to my signature - I made one but how do I make it permanent? :confused3

Towards the Top of the page, towards the right hand side, click on the Quick Links and then Edit Signature. Go to the site you created the ticker and copy everything in the section called PseudoHTML, UBBCode or BBCode, it should start with [url= and paste it into the white box area under the Edit Signature and hit the Save button. Sorry I'm not the best at writing instructions. Hope these changes help.

You are my hero!

Happy to help! These days my countdowns are what are getting me through my workdays, it's wonderful to have something to look forward to. After these trips I think I'm going to be on restriction for a while.
