....when do I put them on? Do I put them on at home before we leave? This doesn't make sense to me because we're headed to OKW for 2 nights first and then we're taking a limo to the port. I would rather put them on at OKW.

Which is the right thing to do???? I don't want to screw up anything at this point!

I've had a crazy week and couldn't post much. I LOVE the weather reports How exciting!!

Can anyone tell me the current carry-on policies? Is the liquid thing still going on? I need to carry on my DS's asthma medicine (pulmicort) along with his nebulizer. Will I need a dr's note to carry this on? Would a faxed note be OK? My dr. is a good 25 minutes away and I'd rather not have to drive there for an original.

OK, time to get off the computer and start gathering bathing suits and shoes for the suitcase.

Do you want to carry the medicine on Disney or airplane? I would not "trust" us . Call your airline and call Disney.....those rules change so much, no one can be sure....

The rules seem to change by the day. You can get it right from the source on the TSA website. It's www.tsa.gov. They have all sorts of info on what you can and can't carry on the plane.

Your airline will set the rules re: how many bags, etc., but the TSA sets the rules on what can come through security.

I'm going through this with my parents right now. My dad is a heart transplant recipient, and needs a small pharmacy to go with him. They got a note from the doctor listing all of the meds he needs to take.

Generally, they seem to want the prescription meds in the original container with the prescription on it. Diabetic supplies (including syringes, etc.) and other medically necessary items can be carried on. Check the website. (You might even want to print it out and bring it with you in case you have a problem. Let's face it - when you're at the gate, they have all the power and you don't. Best to come armed with the info.)

We're all excited and packing here, too. Also waiting to get out of windy NJ and to the breezy beaches!

I've booked some shore excursions throught the website, but am wondering whether anyone has any experience with booking excursions directly with the operators in the ports? There seem to be a lot of choices, and some different options from what is offered through the cruise line.

Has anyone been on any of them? If so, would you share what your experience was like?

Key West- We'll take the trolley or train tour, then walk around for a bit, stop for a drink and some key lime pie. Several friends have recommended The Hogs Breath Saloon, so we'll try that.

Cozumel-Paradise Beach, only good reviews, we'll take a taxi from the port, DS14 and I will get the bracelets for $8 or $9 to use all the water toys, such as water trampoline, giant iceburg, floats and kayaks. The food is good, they have clean showers and restrooms

Grand Cayman-not sure, maybe Eden Rock, which is walking distance to the ship and great snorkeling, maybe just a beach trip on 7Mile Beach, we'll take a taxi, Also Margaritaville is now open, and I'm a parrot head, so that is a likely stop, too

Thanks for this info my husband is a liver transplant receipient and we also carry a huge bag of meds. Congrats to your father and we wish him well with his new heart!!!

After a weekend of rain and snow, winds in the 50-60 mph range, and temperatures in the upper 20s, lower 30s, we are ready to go now!

Previous posts said that the meet & greet will be at the Goofy Pool @ 3:00 pm.

We spent the day packing today and now the whole family is getting excited.

As other NJ's have posted it was very windy here today and our gutter blew off part of our house, so now we have another thing to take care of before we go. Looking forward to the warm weather.

Getting excited here but had a minor setback tonight. I mentioned long ago that DD lost her lanyard with all her pins. I've searched this house up and down numerous times. She has known that they've been missing but for some reason she is now completely hysterical over it. I guess b/c I did one last search today and came up empty

I wasn't even planning on bringing the pins b/c of this (the boys have their lanyards) but apparently she was planning on it. I offered her 3 junk pins for trading left over from the last trip plus an Incredibles pin I was keeping for myself and I promised that I'll buy her a new lanyard at the airport. I got a little smile at that. I just feel bad, it's not her fault that she lost them. She had brought them to school for "sharer of the day" last year and I'm positive they came home. They were in a supermarket bag and the only thing I can think of is they accidentally got thrown out. Now I'm kicking myself for not searching ebay for her pins . I just always held out hope that I'd find them.

If anyone has any extra "junk" pins (you know, the cheap ones for trading that no one wants), I'd love to buy them from you so she can trade. Like I said, I wasn't planning on bringing them so I never purchased any for this trip.

Other than this minor setback, we had a blast making door signs today. They came out sooo cute!!! Plus the Giants won and my fantasy football team kicked butt so the day was not a total loss!!!

I think God has sent you to me!! I bought 250 traders on ebay last week. (I am travelling with 24 children...many who trade) I will NOT let you buy any of them, but I am glad to share as many as you need to fill up your lanyard. Just tell her Mickey will make it all better and she will have way more fun trading than buying new pins. I will PM you my cell phone # and you can call me when you get on board....or at the terminal, we will be there 9:30 to 10am. Travel Blessings to you!
