11/04/06 Anyone Out There Yet?

Thanks disneylover5! Great information! I'm a first time cruiser and I would have never thought to look for that information. I'm glad I didn't schedule anything for Cozumel - too many people!

JSfein - Thanks for the updated list.

To all-
My DS is 11 and will be 12 on 11/7 on board the ship. Since this is our third time sailing "Jersey week" our anticipation builds day by day.
Anyway, if there are any single travelers that would like to have dinner without the kids, I've booked Palo's for Monday at 8 PM. I met someone last year that arranged a Palo's night :cool1: and it was a fun way to meet others and take a break from the kids. Most of all the restaurant is awesome!

I'm in, some of the other groups have done 3:30 on Sail Away day. Any other good times? or places?

JO JO: I see you are one of the lucky ones. Still waiting for ours

meet & greet would be great. Last time we cruised we all wore lime green to identify the group on the boards. 3:30 would be good, maybe on deck 10 where the sail away party is going to be?

Goofy

Only 18 days to go!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I am sure we will all be getting our packages soon, I can't wait, only 18 days to go.

We will be there, Deck 10 at 3:30, with something in lime green to identify ourselves with. Well, my DH and DS might not be in something lime green, but somehow we will find other dissers.

Hey Guys,

New to the boards but looking forward to the cruise. This will be our first Disney cruise, second cruise. It's our 15th anniversary cruise so we'll be without the kids. I've been reading this thread and have started working on our door signs already. Looking forward to meeting everyone on board!

GA Srapper:

Welcome to the group. DW & I are celebrating our 6th anniversary. No kids for us. we have 4 puppies at home to keep us busy. looking forward to meeting you guys.

Goofy

Last year we met for a quick meet at the promenade lounge (behind Lumiere's) deck 3. I believe we made it at 3:30. Worked out great...however it is a bit down from the deck 10 party. I believe that boat drill is at 4:00 and the sail away is at 4:30.

Just an idea.

Welcome to our cruise, you will love DCL!
Congrats on your 15th anniversary!

What cruise documents should I be expecting? I filled out all the online stuff. When should these things arrive? We're just shy of 2 weeks from leaving (we're leaving 11/2 and spending11/3 in MK and AK). Should I start to panic? Or just take some prozac to get me through these next two weeks....

The sail-away party sounds like a good place to meet & socialize, but it won't be until after the boat drill, so probably, more like 4:30. The shirt idea is neat, but I am trying to pack lighter this year and I don't own a lime green shirt! lol :)

You'll get a "booklet" with all your cruise info, luggage tags, etc... We are leaving on 10/28 and I still haven't received ours, either. We did this same trip last year and we did get the docs before we left, so they will come! If you're really concerned, you can always call your travel agent/Disney, etc... for some reassurance! :)

The sail away party at 4:30-4:45 is a very good spot to meet. The only problem is that the rest of the ship will also be there.

If anyone has ideas on how to differentiate ourselves, please post the ideas.
I'm not sure how many people will have a lime green shirt....maybe we can print out signs.

Michael
