Hi everyone,
I've lurked around here off and on for almost a year now and now that I'm back from my first ever cruise, I figured I should finally register.
My trip on the 4-night, 11/02, cruise on the Wonder was simply amazing! I could definitely get used to cruising.
All of the excellent advice and information I found here and on other sites was invaluable and helped make my trip go very smoothly.
The 11/02 cruise got off to a bit of a rocky start as on our way down to Nassau we ran into a Class 9 gale wind (45 knots!) and 20-25 foot seas. Needless to say, there were a lot of seasick passengers. We spoke with a number of crew members who all commented that it was the worse they'd seen it in several years. We even heard stories of on-duty crew members having to be relieved due to getting sick themselves!
The rest of the trip went very smoothly, despite an occasional passing shower, but temps were always in the upper-70's to lower-80's. Very, very humid, however!
