Welcome aboard! So far no one has mentioned door signage but we are planning on having a DIS meet on Saturday 5:00 - 6:00 on Deck 7 aft (secret deck). I believe we are also planning a second meet for those who can't make the first Sunday at 1:00 at the Promenade Lounge??? It seems we have a great group of people onboard. I look forward to meeting them all!

We are happy to report we now have documents in hand.

I did make a small magnet (lime green mickey icon head)to put on our cabin door.

We are in the process of gathering everything and I have committed this weekend to start the packing.

We are all very excited and can't wait to get on board and meet everyone.

I LOVE the idea of putting something on our door - will do some searching this weekend and see what I can find in lime green.

I know they've done door decs for Cruise Critic board members. I e-mailed a draft of something I did for ours.

We can buy ink jet printable magnet sheets at Office Depot and print them up. I think Debby attached a green mickey to one of the spreadsheet emails, so we could use that and add some words then print them up.

What time is the Sail Away Party? Does it conflict with our DISmeet?

the sailaway party starts pretty soon after the lifeboat drill ends. We took our life jackets back and headed upstairs. There is a ton of singing/dancing/characters and then pretty soon they blow the horn and we'll be off. That is usually around 5 p.m. We left soon after that to get ready for dinner at 6 but you can stay for awhile I believe.

We always miss the dismeet the first day fir that reason.We love to do the chacha slide on deck.It really gets us in the cruising mood.If you have 1st seating you'll have to leave to get ready or come to the sailaway dressed for dinner.

they usually take the kids (5-7 at least) to see a movie in the club - my DS loved this. I wonder which one it will be? Last time it was Sky Kids (2?) and it was his first "big" (non-cartoon) kid movie.

I kind of hope they'll take the 3-4's to see Finding Nemo; DD would love that.

Gosh, I hope the 10/11 or 10/18 groups bring home navigators (from the kids's clubs and from the 10/18 Eastern) for us so we can ask lots of questions!

OMG! While e-mailing with Theresa, I realized 2 weeks from right now I'll be sitting in the Tulsa airport waiting to board our flight.

Drinking heavily? That remains to be seen and will be based on how the next "LESS THAN 2 WEEKS" go.

One of the recent navigators I have said the sail away party starts at 4:30 but last year it was more like 5:00. It will be difficult to get to the DIS meet after the sailaway and get ready for dinner at 6:00. Last year we only had on other person show at the meet time. It's hard to get everyone together when they are so excited to be on the ship the first day.

Do we have a time and place set for Sunday?

I love going to the movies but DH doesn't so we usually wait for them to come out on video and we rent/buy them. I can't remember the last movie I saw in a theater. I too do not want to spend my whole cruise in the theater but I do want to see them all.

I can't believe we are 2 weeks away.

Hey Everyone, it's been a long, busy week. I was going into Dis-withdrawal. So glad to see "everyone" back on and getting excited. 2 weeks from now, we'll be airborn. YEAH!

I think the dismeet on Sunday may be better also. We're First timers on dcl, and wouldn't want to miss the sailaway party or our first dinner seating. We didn't realize it would be so tight. I thought the party was at 4:00.

Crenze - thank you again for the movie list. dd loved it.

Masonips- r u sending out updated lists to everyone? IF not, could u send me one again. I lost half of the original one. Thanks!

Dis4me- I just saw your other post. I hope you find your docs. they must be somewhere. I'll say a prayer for you. try not to get toooooo aggravated, they'll turn up.

I decided to pack my (larger)collaspible cooler with toiletries and such. If they check, I'm safe. I'm only planning on bringing H2O bottles along anyhow. We'll put them in a carryon I guess.

Any other last minute tips or ideas?

Oh BTW we should look for each other at the sailaway party. You can't miss me We are blondes and my daughter look like they could be twins(they're 10 months apart)
I hope the new navigators get posted before we leave Especially the kids' navigators I'd love to give my kids a heads up on what will be going on.I'll meet you at the movies Cindy. My kids wre thrilled that they may get to see some of the ones they haven't see yet.I hope they play them during the day or at 10 pm.
