10k for a WDW vacation

Love this thread- I always love planning my fantasy vacation!

My trip would be for me and my sister from November 1st- November 11th, 2013.

We'd do a split stay with 5 nights at Beach Club (pool/lagoon view) and 5 nights at GF (theme park view.) We'd get park hopper tickets with the DDP and tickets to MNSSHP and MVMHP. We'd do Wild Africa Trek, KTTK, a Wishes Cruise, a Typhoon Lagoon surfing lesson for me, registration for the Wine and Dine Half and 5k, and post race massages at the Yacht Club. I threw in an extra 400 for food outside our plan and 300 for extra spending.

All that fun and I'm still 109 under budget.

If only, right?! :rotfl:

My turn, my turn!!!

My trip would be for my sister (aka the previous poster) and myself.

For $9,766, we would get:

Airfare to and from FL (often the most expensive parts of our normal trips)
8 nights staying club level at the Grand Floridian from Dec 1-9....we'd finally get to see Christmas decorations! (and I hear this is a fairly low crowd time of year)
A rental car-just compact since we'll only be driving it sometimes
9 day park hopper WP fun passes
The DxDP...I've always wanted to do this but never thought it was cost efficient (in real life...haha)
Tickets to MVMCP

Then we've have almost $250 left over for souvenirs!

Now all we need is $20,000 and we can go two months back to back! :rotfl:

I really don't know what I would do!! So many options:

An extended stay at DLR in one if the Signature Suites at the DLH for my family of 5 at Christmas time.

More likely, a 7 night cruise in the off peak season in a Royal Suite :)

Would be fun to use to visit an international park as well.

I'd buy DVC with $10k.

It's 10k for a vacation. Buying DVC with 10k would not give you a vacation without throwing $ in with it. Unless you can buy DVC with less than 10k and have enough left to pay for tickets and airfare? And spending $$? Is that possible?
