104 fever....haven't had fever like this since..

I was a little kid! I kept taking tylenol every 4 hours on the dot , my fever would go down and then come back up again! I spent the night sleeping in installments, hot, cold, hot , cold....etc.
I just came back from the doctor and I have both ears infectec and possible strep. Who the heck is giving me this??? I'm going back to bed, I have been there since last afternoon!

My DS5 is at 103.3 right now and burning up. I have to keep an eye on him, same thing happened to him last night.

Ugh, I SO feel your pain! That was me last week. I ended up getting a throat culture, and it was strep throat.

I ended up going to the ER last week, and the nurse told me they had not seen an epidemic of strep like they have this season.

Stay in bed, drink lots of fluids, and try and get plenty of rest! I ended up going back and forth with Motrin and Tylenol, someone mentioned here to alternate, as did my doctor. It did seem to help keep the fever at bay.

I had that last week, but I promise it wasn't me! My doctor gave me some antibiotics, and I spent 4 days flat on my back in bed. My only advice is drink hot soup and ginger ale (not together).

What is it with strep throat/ear infections this year?

Last year, when I had strep, it was one of the few times I've been really, really sick. It's the pits!

Snoopy the doctor told me to do the same thing, alternate tylenol with motrin every 4 hours, I just have never been so sick in my life, I'm going to bed now, I'm freezing.

The fever is still here Katholyn, not as high though. I think it will be gone by tonight but then again I'm taking antibiotics now and that should help. I feel like a zombie though , still achy and my head feels like it's going to split in half.
I spoke to one of my co-workers yesterday, she's sick with the same thing and the other co-worker gave us this over the weekend, her son has strep and she kept complaining all weekend.
