101 Ways My Son Entertained Himself at WDW--The Last Day--New 11/18

When K returned from the bathroom with A...
Since you are officially on vacation I will count this as #1 way A entertained himself ... :rolleyes1 . I'm giving this to you because I don't believe you'll come up with 101.

, I refrained from saying what I was thinking and just said, “You have the Boarding Passes and we were already supposed to get on.” I said this more for the Southwest guy’s benefit than K’s. He heard me and pulled us into the line and sent us on our way. :thumbsup2
I would have done the same thing. Good job!

I thought before you got on the monorail it was A and after you got off the monorail it was B. So we went downstairs at the wrong place. How embarrassing! Oh well, let’s get moving! :cutie:
I have to say it before Buzz ... you Ip-Dip.

The poor kids were rolling around on the ground moaning about the lines and when is the bus going to be here? I was hoping the whole trip wasn’t going to be whining about waiting. (see picture #1 of ways my son entertained himself, posted above)
Number 2.

Once we were at POR, you guessed it, the line was long to check-in. Thank goodness for the little table for coloring and all those old Mickey Mouse cartoons. We could hear A laughing over all the noise. I absolutely LOVE to hear his laugh. It’s the best laugh. I guess he’s a fan of physical comedy. :rotfl2:
Number 3

We were in building 37, not 26 as I had requested. I was slightly annoyed at how far we were from the main building,, but I later realized we were so close to the bus stop, that it was really a blessing. We also got first floor, so score one for us!
I love the first floor!

We put our bags down, and headed to MGM Studios. :wizard: (At least that was what it was called at the beginning of the trip.) This is when we became… one of them. :sad2:
Oh no!

We love POR! But it is very spread out, we were in the same building,,2nd floor,
IMG_0280.jpg

Great spot for the busses,,we just had to figure out the maze of stairs in the building! I curious how A did with the Trundle bed? Annie loved it..it was her 2nd time,
Didnt you keep getting bopped in the head by the stupid rod on the curtain? :headache:
The pictures are great! not to big, perfect! :surfweb:
One of THEM! popcorn::
Good cliff hanger!:thumbsup2

after the fake monorail

:rotfl2: Good name for it! Monorail Wannabe!

poor B ended up sitting by a stranger. I kept my eye on the man, all Focker-style. B was as close as she could get to the window.
:rotfl2: Ab won't sit beside of strangers---even at a movie so we constantly play musical chairs!

The video was cute and got the kids excited about starting their trip. Okay, I was excited too. :yay:
Hannah Montana?????

Finally we were off to the room, which A called our apartment the rest of the trip. It was so funny. He’d ask a lot (like, more than 5 times a day!) on this trip to go back to our apartment to watch Toon Disney.
:lmao: so you like POR? Would you stay again? Would you recommend your bestest DIS friend stay there???
And what about the trundle? Do I need to bring my own sheets? (BA's a germ-a-phobe )

Too bad when you’d flush, it sounded like your kid just got sucked in too.
:rotfl2: I read about the loud toilets somewhere else too--what's with that??

We put our bags down, and headed to MGM Studios. :wizard: (At least that was what it was called at the beginning of the trip.) This is when we became… one of them. :sad2:
Did they call in STUD???
Uh oh.....did TGM lead u astray???

Okay- Throwing a fit at the airport, way #1
I would have done the same thing. Good job!
:thumbsup2
I have to say it before Buzz ... you Ip-Dip.
:sad2: At least I have the excuse that it's been almost 12 years since I was in Orlando...
Number 2.
Number 3
Watching t.v., and coloring= 3 & 4
Yeah... it was not good. It wasn't the right way to start a trip, that's for sure. :headache:

We love POR! But it is very spread out, we were in the same building,,2nd floor,

A didn't sleep on the trundle. Are you trying to get me to spill the beans early?!
YES!!! That stupid curtain rod pull thingy kept hitting K and me in the head! :headache: :headache:
Yeah, I'm not sure why the first one wouldn't take the resize. These ones came out right. :thumbsup2

Hannah Montana?????
Where'd that come from? :confused3 I was talking about the video on Magical Express.

:lmao: so you like POR? Would you stay again? Would you recommend your bestest DIS friend stay there???
And what about the trundle? Do I need to bring my own sheets? (BA's a germ-a-phobe )

I loved it. I will stay there next time we go, for sure. I liked the relaxed feeling there. I'd reccomend it for my bestest DIS friend, sure.
The sheets are all flat, so you might want a fitted sheet. The trundle was not normal twin sized though. It's a little shorter to fit under the bed.

:rotfl2: I read about the loud toilets somewhere else too--what's with that??

It skeeerd me. Good thing I already went! :scared1:

Did they call in STUD???
Uh oh.....did TGM lead u astray???

I think the correct abbreviation for MGM now is DHS for Disney's Hollywood Studios. I didn't see any studs there, really. :rotfl2: Well, except for my man, but that's for a different day. Wednesday, I think... :3dglasses

TGM didn't lead me astray, but that's all I can say right now.

I answered your PM (instead of napping- you should feel special) :surfweb: Now I'll need a coffee before dance.

Oh, I'm not liking this, either. :sad2:

Noted. Though I'm not optimistic.

Uh-oh! popcorn::
I like reading your thoughts. We'll see what happens... :surfweb:

See I am #1 :yay: :rotfl2:
:yay: :yay:

Ummmm that's called cheating :rolleyes1 HS tell her off :rotfl2:
I need Mo to give her some Jersey attitude, huh?
Nah, I think it's funny. It was so quiet here before the trip, now I don't know how I'll keep up here and with my subscribed threads both! Especially once we start school again next week! :teacher:

Very sweet :goodvibes

:lovestruc They have their moments, for sure. :lovestruc

I think the pics could be bigger ...

You're pushing it. I considered that as only 1 count because it was done whilst waiting for you. But since you're desperate, I'll give it to you. So, you're up to #4.

Don't forget the picture A and C cuddling, then wrestling... That's six.

Whataburger was open, but nowhere else seemed to be open on New Year’s Day morning.

:confused3 OMG! I just realized you're not kidding! :lmao:

I ordered a honey butter biscuit. It looked good until I went to put it in my mouth and saw a big, black hair. :scared:

You say that like it's a bad thing. :rolleyes1

Security was fast and easy. I’m sure they could tell we never go anywhere as we stood around confused by people taking their shoes off. :upsidedow The kids weren’t happy about it, but would do about anything to get the trip started.

Yeah, my kids weren't happy about having to that either. At least they didn't have to get second searched!
I looked at the map I had before we got off the plane so I could get us to the Magical Express easily. But, yeah, not so much. I didn’t know there was an A side and a B side after the fake monorail thing. I thought before you got on the monorail it was A and after you got off the monorail it was B. So we went downstairs at the wrong place. How embarrassing! Oh well, let’s get moving! :cutie:

:lmao: I did the same thing!

Our line to Port Orleans Riverside was pretty long too. I think the wait was about 20-25 minutes.

Uhhhh... that doesn't sound very "Express" to me. :sad2:

Finally we were off to the room, which A called our apartment the rest of the trip. It was so funny.

That's cute! :goodvibes He’d ask a lot (like, more than 5 times a day!) on this trip to go back to our apartment to watch Toon Disney.

Those rooms look better than POFQ - I like the rustic feel to it.

Gulp! :scared1:

:woohoo:

I prided myself on my planning skills, and I knew that Orlando International was a challenge. I looked at the map I had before we got off the plane so I could get us to the Magical Express easily. But, yeah, not so much. I didn’t know there was an A side and a B side after the fake monorail thing. I thought before you got on the monorail it was A and after you got off the monorail it was B. I just know that I am going to get lost in the airport trying to find the ME.:headache: At least I know that everybody else does as well! :lmao:

We could hear A laughing over all the noise. I absolutely LOVE to hear his laugh. It’s the best laugh.

How sweet!

Everybody says this about my laugh as well. I always laugh louder and longer than everybody else. I also laugh really easily, I think laughing is contagious.

I thought the room was very quaint and adorable. I love the look of the beds made out of tree posts.

POR is slowly growing on me after reading all these glowing reports about it.

This is when we became… one of them. :sad2:

:scared1:

:woohoo:

Whoops, at least you'll know for next time :thumbsup2

K was smoking again, so I had to take the kids in line with me.
What again? Didn't he just smoke before he got on the plane :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Once the bus came, it was full, so poor B ended up sitting by a stranger.
I can't believe people didn't move so you could all sit together

I absolutely LOVE to hear his laugh. It’s the best laugh.
Kids laughter is wonderful isn't it :goodvibes

but I later realized we were so close to the bus stop, that it was really a blessing. We also got first floor, so score one for us!
So good room then :thumbsup2

This is when we became… one of them. :sad2:
Oh no and so soon too :sad2:

I think the pics could be bigger ...
I agree, what is up with me today I keep agreeing with DM  :rotfl2:

Where'd that come from? :confused3 I was talking about the video on Magical Express.
Oh...BA likes Hannah Montana videos......course she has watched the Disney planning DVD (aka Disney porn :lmao: ) twice.
Did u see a lot of Hannah stuff?? BA told "world of Disney" cashier last year that they really needed to add more.

Thanks for the super top secret PM! Cause it's fun sharing secrets! And I cross my heart, and hope to die, and stick a needle.....ouch--who made that up anyway? Must have been them English foreigners! ;) :lmao:

Must be, cos we made up everything :snooty: :rotfl2:

Hey HSM!

I just realized that you might be back from your trip! Sorry I haven't been over here lately! Great to hear about your ME adventure.

DH and I decided to rent a car this trip because we were switching resorts. However, I'm thinking ME is the way to go. Let me tell you, we waited an HOUR for our luggage at the carousel! I'm not exaggerating at all. It was crazy! I would have rather made my way to the bus and let WDW handle the stuff!

Can't wait to read about the rest of the ways your son entertained himself!

Jodi

We easily got seats in front/back of each other. The flight was uneventful and fairly quick.

Well that is at least some good news.

So we went downstairs at the wrong place. How embarrassing!

And you call yourself a Disser;)

I think the wait was about 20-25 minutes.

Doesn't that kill you when yuou are so close to the Motherland:headache:

but I later realized we were so close to the bus stop, that it was really a blessing. We also got first floor, so score one for us!

:thumbsup2

This is when we became… one of them. :sad2:

:scared1:

Truth be told we forgot which side ME was last time too! LOL.

I am excited to hear more about POR because we are staying there in August and I have to learn all I can! :)
