101 Ways My Son Entertained Himself at WDW--The Last Day--New 11/18

You changed the title! I'm all screwed up now.

Um, NOW?!?!?!?

Well too lazy eh? Then I'm going to hold you to the title of your report and count each and every way your son entertained himself. It better add up to 101 lady! :teacher:

And you know she will, DM is like that;)

That would make you gud Jo.

I am gud too, been gud 10 years March 30th:thumbsup2

It's not bad, it's just very mustardy with the burgers and I'm not a fan.

Yuk, I hate mustard on burgers and only occassionally like it on hot dogs.

Please see above. My vote outrank all other votes! :snooty:

Um, yeah, um ok

Sorry about that. OhMari and DM both told me I needed to change the title, so I did. Peer Pressure... :sad2:

I can see listening to OhMari, but DM?????

Still need 1 more,,,

Hey that's cheating:lmao:

Here it is. The first way my son entertained himself at Disney World.

Since there was some arguing about who my #1 fan is, I thought I'd settle it with a post count check (Thanks for the suggestion, TE).

I read on goofyluver's (Jen's) thread ages ago that she had got another job and didn't have much DIS time anymore :confused3

Welcome Home!!!!

Looking forward to reading all about your trip :yay:

HSM,,Your light is on,does that mean your writing us a update? ;)
I was trying to catch up on some of my TRs. I'm only reading the updates so I can get caught up. I have an update ready already. I have the pics downloaded too, but I can't figure out how to make them smaller... :confused3
I'll post it after I figure that out. Anyone know? We have dance this afternoon and evening, so I'll have to post it with big pics, I guess. :surfweb:

When K returned from the bathroom with A, I refrained from saying what I was thinking and just said, “You have the Boarding Passes and we were already supposed to get on.” I said this more for the Southwest guy’s benefit than K’s. He heard me and pulled us into the line and sent us on our way. :thumbsup2
We easily got seats in front/back of each other. The flight was uneventful and fairly quick. We had a direct flight, that was scheduled to land about 1:45p.m. I prided myself on my planning skills, and I knew that Orlando International was a challenge. I looked at the map I had before we got off the plane so I could get us to the Magical Express easily. But, yeah, not so much. I didn’t know there was an A side and a B side after the fake monorail thing. I thought before you got on the monorail it was A and after you got off the monorail it was B. So we went downstairs at the wrong place. How embarrassing! Oh well, let’s get moving! :cutie:
Once we found the line, it’s was fairly long. They lady told me only one person was needed, but, lucky me, K was smoking again, so I had to take the kids in line with me. He was done before I reached the front of the line, so I sent the kids to stand with him. Our line to Port Orleans Riverside was pretty long too. I think the wait was about 20-25 minutes. The poor kids were rolling around on the ground moaning about the lines and when is the bus going to be here? I was hoping the whole trip wasn’t going to be whining about waiting. (see picture #1 of ways my son entertained himself, posted above)

Once the bus came, it was full, so poor B ended up sitting by a stranger. I kept my eye on the man, all Focker-style. B was as close as she could get to the window.
The video was cute and got the kids excited about starting their trip. Okay, I was excited too. :yay:

Once we were at POR, you guessed it, the line was long to check-in. Thank goodness for the little table for coloring and all those old Mickey Mouse cartoons. We could hear A laughing over all the noise. I absolutely LOVE to hear his laugh. It’s the best laugh. I guess he’s a fan of physical comedy. :rotfl2:

Finally we were off to the room, which A called our apartment the rest of the trip. It was so funny. He’d ask a lot (like, more than 5 times a day!) on this trip to go back to our apartment to watch Toon Disney.
We were in building 37, not 26 as I had requested. I was slightly annoyed at how far we were from the main building,, but I later realized we were so close to the bus stop, that it was really a blessing. We also got first floor, so score one for us!

I thought the room was very quaint and adorable. I love the look of the beds made out of tree posts.

I would have to say that my favorite thing about the room was the curtain that it had across the sink/bathroom area. It’s pure genius. Anyone who got up in the night could go potty with out blinding everyone. I just turned the light on, cracked the door and shut the curtain almost all the way. Too bad when you’d flush, it sounded like your kid just got sucked in too.
It was nice to take a shower and let the kids sleep a little later, though. I mean, when K’s snoring didn’t wake them up before the morning wake up call.

We put our bags down, and headed to MGM Studios. :wizard: (At least that was what it was called at the beginning of the trip.) This is when we became… one of them. :sad2:
