101 Ways My Son Entertained Himself at WDW--The Last Day--New 11/18

You're silly! :rotfl:
I've sold a lot of things on eBay. If you go set up an eBay account and a Paypal account (both are free), it's really easy to understand. They take a percentage based on how much your item sold for. Good luck!
I have a ebay and Paypal accts for buying. How do I change the paypal to a selling one so I can put that on the listing?
How do you know how much shipping to charge?
What amount of time do you put your listings for??
And what % money do they take so I know where to start the bidding?

See--I have many questions!

I'm listing some cute clothes (several Disney ones!) on eBay right now. All you do is click on sell instead of buy. The process is so easy to understand, really. If you can DIS, you can figure sellingon eBay out. My fee was $.60 for one picture and an insertion/listing fee. They take a small fee based on your selling price. It's 5.25% of your selling price of the first $25, then 3.25% of anything over that inital $25. At any rate, it will tell you what the fee is before you list and you can change your mind then.
I can't remember what to do for paypal. I think it's ready to go as long as you have an account. They take a small percent too. But you can get the $ transferred directly to your bank account. :thumbsup2

Hi HS, anymore crafty things to show?????

Girl, I'm burnt out on projects! I barely have been able to DIS for the last 3 or so days. Today I'm listing a bunch of clothes for kids on eBay, then I'm going to try and catch up with my DISing. I still have a day or two to talk about for the trip... :goodvibes

FYI- I am listing several outfits (in near new condition) on eBay today. So, if anyone needs any cute outfits for a size 4-6/6x girls or boys, check it out. I have several Pooh outfits and a cute Mickey jeans jacket (never worn). My DD6 refuses to wear Pooh or anything she deems not cool. :confused3
Anyway- my eBay id is Homeschoolmama23 :)

ok--check out your ebay listing (clothes way to small for teenager but cute!) but wanted to learn.

It looks like $6 shipping--how do you know how much that would be?

It depends on weight and what other people are charging. I did $6 because it'll probably be a few bucks for a box, then shipping. So my guesstimate is $6. I have a really heavy sweater I'm selling that I made a bit higher. Play around with the USPS site to see estimates. I put the box on the scale to get an estimate and just print labels from home, then drop the box off at the Post Office. I may pay a bit more, but I don't want to stand in line with three kids at the Post Office.

We will also be in The World over that time frame (1st thru 13th actually)...I am hoping for low crowds too!

Looking forward to reading about your trip to come!

Whew! What a week! I was going to post last week, and I got busy with my puppy. I thought I'd post what's been going on here since I've only been posting on the TFW thread this last week or so.
Last Wednesday, the kids and I went to lunch. When we came back we went to the back door to let the puppy in the house. He didn't come when we called him, so we started looking for him in the yard. We found him under our deck. He wouldn't come, so I picked him up. When I got back to the deck, I sat him down and he fell over. I set him on our table to examine him and he was shaking.
I called our vet and we rushed him over to their office. She did an x-ray and discovered both of his back legs were broken. I was shocked. The only thing I can think of is that he jumped up on the sand table and then tried to get on the handrail of the deck. If he missed or fell, that's a 15 ft. drop. :scared1: The vet said his injuries were consistent with a fall like that. Because he couldn't stand at all, our vet suggested he go to the specialist.
Thursday we picked him up from the vet and took him to the specialist 40 miles away. He found he would need surgery, and planned it for Friday morning. He knew right away one leg would have to be operated on, but wanted to check his second leg in the morning once the puppy was under anesthesia. Both legs would have to be operated on.
I spent the weekend calling and worrying about his progress. People I told about the situation had mixed results. Some people thought I was stupid for feeling like he was my baby and I was willing to pay for the surgeries. Most people understood how I felt and were kind. For a short time, our trip to Disney was in question. We have just become debt-free (where credit cards are concerned) about a year and a half ago, so this was quite a shock to us. We decided after all the drama we've been through these last few motnhs, we need this vacation. :wizard:
Last night, we finally got to bring the puppy home. I'm so glad to have him home where we can love on him whenever we want. He's really sleeping almost constantly. I was worried because he wouldn't go potty, but he did have a small accident in his crate over night. This morning I carried him out to try to pee again, and he wanted to sit. I have to support his weight under the ribcage, but he seemed tired. I let him sit for a mintue, then he whimpered and looked like he was going to drag himself to the deck steps. But instead, he stood up alone and peed the longest pee ever! I was so proud of him. I called hubby to tell him how he did and he told my the puppy took a couple of steps in his crate this a.m. too.
So, he seesm to be taking baby steps. :) His staples come out after 14 days, and he has that stupid collar until then. It really doesn't seem to bother him that much. We've been hand feeding him since he can't reach the bowls with the collar on. He seems to like that attention. ;)

So... there it is. That's why I've been absent for so long. I'm hoping to have more to write about this week.

Hey HsM!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm here. It was fun talking with you tonight! I'll catch up on your pre-trippie soon!

Good morning HS! How is Texas? It is frosty here. Hope the pup is ok. Still no kids here.

HS I knew about your puppy but just wanted to say I'm so pleased he is getting better :)

He is getting better. He's walking a little outside and I've tried to do controlled outings in the yard or on the couch beside me since he's getting tired of being in his crate. Poor baby. He'll get his staples out and get that dumb cone off Thursday. Thanks for checking in! :goodvibes

I'm here, I'm here!!! :yay:
Yeah! It's "gud" to see you.
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Hot. :sad2: We're in shorts and flip flops today. Puppy's getting better. Now if only you could get that goat to tell you when she DTD so you could predict the arrival of kids, that would make things easier, huh? :lmao:

Lots of :grouphug: for your puppy, HsM.. hope he's feeling better soon..
Thanks. He's on the mend. I'm happy with his progress. I just can't wait until we can play fetch again.

Thanks for stopping by! I'm not really crafty, I just have ideas. I hate doing projects though. I'm an idea "borrower", and I'm cheap. I hate to pay full price for anything. That's really how it all started.

Stay away from the DISigns thread... That's what happened to me. :sad2: I made everyone a tee shirt (iron-on) for each day, then I went there and I was sad about my junky ol' t-shirts. I'll probably still wear one everyday though.

Since Christmas is the week before we leave, I think my kids will have more Disney clothes than they know what to do with! :cheer2:

 Disney clothes are always appreciated. The funny thing about me is that I have a ton of Disney shirts but I never wore any of them in the parks.:confused3
