101 Ways My Son Entertained Himself at WDW--The Last Day--New 11/18

Epcot day! :woohoo:
I am particularly excited about this day being a homeschooler. I even went on-line and bought a book written by homeschoolers, Vacation Education destination EPCOT. I think the book is well done and I'm enjoying just reading and letting them do the homework for me. I had hoped to studying all the countries before we go, but I just haven't been able to get to them. When we get back from Disney, we'll be in a new semester and I'm hoping to include Geography and use the book. :teacher:

So, on to the fun stuff-- Our PLAN! :cool1:
I haven't done all the research for this day, because I figure after we hit the big rides- Soarin' and Test Track, we'll just be wandering around the countries. Am I wrong? Should I go read every detail of TGM's plans for Epcot?

I have been a little worried that hubby would get too excited by all the robots and stuff I'm not as into and we wouldn't be able to get through all the countries and the aquarium area. Hmmm... How can I solve this problem?

That's right...
Add another day and night!!!!! :woohoo:

Last week codes came out for the general public, so I started using my fuzzy Disney math and figured that with the code I could get $150 off and get upgraded tickets. We had only base tickets without parkhopper, so that was quite a deal. Changing the plane tickets only cost me $200 for all of us and now we don't get in at 11:30 at night!

Hmmm... Now what type of changes do you think I had to make to my week? Stay tuned for another exciting episode... :rotfl:

Oh HS you and your changes :rotfl2:

The book sounds great and Epcot is an easier park to tour as you say make sure you get the big 2 done, also MS if you want to! The thing we find though is we want to do TT over and over again!!!! Also we found that although we were advised ;) to do the first Turtle Talk we went one evening and it was almost a walk on :thumbsup2

I think you should go back and read all of TGM--then post here what he says--------specifically the parts about what parks to visit from 1/31-2/5.:thumbsup2

Dang Jo--you sceered me--you must be right behind me!

Wow! You two are fast!!! I'm excited about Turtle talk and all the sea animals since that's what we're studying this year in Science.

Well, you know he's not going to recommend parks with EMH ever... that's a start. How about you post what days you want to go where and I'll tell if you it sounds good or not? It'll be a game.

Jo skeery? Never... :rotfl:

I'm game! (and cheap  )

2/1-- considering MK am, Epcot- pm (have Le cellier at 4:30)

MK :thumbsup2 Epcot is an EMH night. :scared:

What does red day mean???
We don't like Epcot EMH anyway--so we may not stay too late--last time they wouldn't open back up the FP machines and the lines were just as long as day time.

Sat, 2/1 MK Pirate party that nite

Red= Stop. Don't go. Bad...

It should be nice to go to P& PP that night. The crowd levels will be down... There's no P&PP when I'm there. :confused3
TGM says Jan1-6 will be pretty crowded. :headache: Boo. I thought it would be less crowded. Our public schools go back to school like 1/2, not 1/6.

Hit the Kidcots plus don't forget Honey I shrunk the Audience. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Robots = Gud. ::yes:: Seriously, not too many robots for him to get "caught up" around. World Showcase is what Epcot is all about. Make this the priority.

I don't see any "Party-time" scheduled so that's the only changes that "I" would make.

I have Kidcots down, but I'm not sure my lDD6 would appreciat the "Honey I Shrunk" show. Maybe without the glasses would be less frightening? :3dglasses

My hunny is big into machines and how things are made. At least we can let him get it out of his system now with an extra day... :sad2:

It's all Par-tay time when I'm there, baybee! Seriously, I'm not a big drinker, so I'll mostly save my drinking for dinner, I'm sure. I did here I needed to hit a tea cart in China for some yummy beverage... Now, what was it? :confused3

We're past Kidcots and into shopping and dessert sampling--my favorite 2 hobbies!

OK: 2/3: AK probably. Trying to get into Yak and yeti but still no luck. May go over to Studios too for Fantasmic

2/4: ? Epcot. got a ADR at Le Chefs at 6 . Not sure what we want to do before that. I'm usually more fixed at this point, but DH is so excited about the ticket upgrades, so we will probably go to Disney quest a bit.

Dang Jo--you sceered me--you must be right behind me!
:rotfl2: Stalking as normal!!!!

[Jo skeery? Never... :rotfl:
Awww thanks :goodvibes

We always avoid EMH's like the plague, far too crowded and no FP's

Those both sound good. I'm not really familar with either restaurant, so I can't give an opinion on those. We are doing some character things since the kids will still enjoy those.

Here's a little secret: You don't have to DRINK to Par-Tay!! a couple glasses of wine is enough for me but these Rubes all think I'm some sort of monster party animal. I like to keep them guessing

:rotfl: I'm getting too old to handle alcohol anyway. I just get sleepy. It' sad really... :sad2:

Tonight we have a Bday dinner at a nice steak house and I'm looking forward to that Margarita I'm ordering. Maybe I can convince DH to drive and I'll have two! yeeehaw! :woohoo: The one good thing about being a big girl, is I can hold my drinks, that's for sure! Yep. that's about it.
