I would not expect the TSA to do conversions. They don't do math! Also, if they do the conversion and it is over 3 oz you can not bring it on board. Check it instead of carry on.
On November 10, 2006, the TSA changed the regulation to conform with better international standards. You may now carry on containers that are 3.4 ounce/100 ml provided they fit into your one quart Zip-Lock. Gel deoderant is included, solid deoderant is not.
