10 year wedding anniversary....

We just celebrated our 10th a month ago. We went out for a wonderful candlelight dinner and then visited the church we were married in. It was a thursday night but the church was open for a "quiet night". It was candlelit and very romantic. Beautiful evening.

Happy 10th anniversary!!! But do you think it really matters, as long as your together. Renew on your 25th. Our 3 kids stood up for us & my whole bridal party came to see & witnessed us repeat our vows, almost time for our 50th (in a couple of years.) Happy planning.

That's more what I think of when I think of a vowel renewal. I'd like to do it when I can show my kids what "for better or worse" really means! It means a looooonnnnnnggggg time if you are lucky! We eloped the first time and in 14 years (yesterday was my 11 year!) we'll probably do something really special. For now it's just nice dinners out and maybe something special for the house. This year I spent $400 getting some pictures framed so I told dh we weren't exchanging gifts. We actually ended up taking our dd's to get their picture taken and getting Chipotle on the way home. We put the girls to bed and watched some of our favorite shows that I had tivo'd and stuffed ourselves with our favorite food. For us it is special to just have a night off!
