We're entering new WDW territory next year - my oldest will turn 10. Now I know buffets will now be an adult charge for her, but what about at table restaurants? Can she still order off the kid menu? I'd be willing to pay a higher price, but she is very picky and eats very little plus she has a severe food allergy. I don't see her wanting anything off the adult menu, especially when she sees her younger sister getting mac and cheese. Can anyone guide me with this new era for us? :rotfl:

I'm trying to make spring break plans for our ADRs and this is harder than I thought now.

I have the complete opposite problem from you! My [almost] 9yo HATES mac-n-cheese and PB&J and would much prefer adult menu choices! We were on the Dining Plan last Feb. ['06] and there were much better choices. Where'd the burgers go for crying out loud!! To answer your question - I believe ANYONE can order from the children's menus. I think they may get charged a couple $$ more than the kids prices but if your on the DDP that's kind of a non-issue. Good luck!:thumbsup2

If you're not on the DDP, there won't be any problem ordering off the kids menu and paying kid prices. My DS13 did it a few times when he didn't find anything he wanted on the adult menus. Also, be sure to note your daughter's allergies on your ADRs
