Yup! We had about 3 inches of snow and it is still dark and cloudy! By Tuesday we are going to be back in the 70's though! Freaky Nevada weather!

I am in a quandry about how to decorate! She's inviting over her BFFs (three of them) for dinner and has chosen enchiladas and a taco ring, then midnight madness bowling and a sleepover. Next day is a Hawaiian cultural festival and a hula performance which just happened to occur on her birthday.

David here, since we are posting weather reports I'll pass on my weather report. Here in Florida, the high today around 87 degrees. low around 72 degrees. Mostly sunny today, some high puffy clouds floating around but all in all a typical Florida October day. Tomorrow .............. see Saturdays report. Sorry I just had to do that!!!!!
We here in our little household are as excited as ya'll about this up coming cruise. Can't wait for it to get here. Watched the Disney Cruise Line show from the Travel Channes again last night. I have it saved on the ol' Tivo so we can watch it over & over & over & over...................well you get the picture. We are getting ready for our 3 day Wonder cruise. Got just everything packed. This will help somewhat to hold us over until that BIG day next October when we all board the Magic!!!
Well all gots to go and tackle the ol' hunny due list the DW has so patiently filled out for me. She's such a dear Talk to you again real soon.

So I know we are still about a year out but was wondering what everyone is interested in doing - anyone interested in doing fish extenders and/or secret mickey give aways? We did both on my last cruise and it was a blast!!! Thoughts anyone?

That would be great!! The 9/27 double dip was our best DCL cruise ever and the kids loved the F/E's. I can not wait to do them again and now I have some better ideas of gifts!!!

Glad to see a familiar name from our last cruise.

Time to get this thread moving -it is only a year away!!!!

Can you remind us of this a bit closer to the cruise? I have three other cruises between now and then, plus the 2010 dates coming out on Tuesday (I'm a TA) so this is too much to think about now. After my December cruise I can start thinking about this one.

I think we would like to try the SM this cruise as well. We skipped it last time, thinking it would be to much but we would hav eloved to be included.

Also, do you think Eric would give us lanyard info and we could make those again? (if others want them) I LOVE THEM!!! Ok I was the only one that wore mine the entire cruise but I put the kids in the scrap book because they were so nice!

We were looking at WB Transatlantic but the prices may be to high for us... Cat 6 was 3699 per person or something like that.

Great idea about the lanyards - I think Eric said he borrowed the idea from someone else so I am sure he would be willing to share if we have enough people interested. I can do a little checking around and get some details - I totally agree - they made the cruise so much fun being able to recognize the Dis'ers

You may want to keep an eye on the WB - I remember last year prices dropped a lot as time went on - would be great to have 2 cruises coming up with you!

Well...our Disneyland trip has come and gone and now I can obsess on the cruise. Well, kind of! I start school again tomorrow and man, it is time consuming with work, family, etc. I totally forgot about the big DCL announcement and just read about Europe. Hoping they do Europe in 2012, when DS graduates from high school so we can do Europe!!! That will also be motivation for me to complete my degree by 2012!

This is a hard message to write, but after doing some contemplating and hemming and hawing, my daughter and I have decided to go on one of the Northern Europe cruises, which means I will be cancelling this one. I so looked forward to meeting all of you.

I am in school myself, yes. My goal was to have my degree by the time I was 30. I didn't start working on my degree until I was 33. So, now my goal is to have my degree by the time I'm 37, when my son graduates high school. I better not be having "degree" goals when I'm 40!

I'm interested in the SM, sure. Is the Fish Extender something you have to do every day?? And...I guess I'm going to have to buy myself a Fish Extender thingy!

Lucky!!!! If I hadn't been threatened with my life about canceling this trip (Love you, Christa!!!) I would seriously, seriously have to consider that Europe cruise. I did check out the Repo prices and was shocked how reasonable they are. But DH and I discussed it the other night (before knowing the reasonable prices) and we decided it's way scary to think about being in the middle of the ocean for days on end! I hope you have an amazing time on the Europe cruise. Lucky, Lucky!!!

The prices for the Mediterranean and Baltic are way out of my league, let alone comfort zone, even without the transatlantic airfare. And neither of the TA repositioning cruises are an option with school in full swing. I won't take my kids out for 2+ weeks.
