That looks like fun. I liked one of the excursions that you get to go to a resort and chill at the pool/beach. Sounds like my kind of vaca!

That was the one we will prob do. I was a bit dissapointed there weren't more choices.

Also, strongly considering this. Found this blurb and link on CruiseCritic. Looks soooo fun.

Paul and Jill's Stable and Farm (340-772-2880) on the west end of St. Croix, offers horseback riding just five minutes from Frederiksted. A 1 1/2 hour ride is $50 per person and includes scenic areas such as the rain forest, pasture and hill view of the cruise ship harbor. Reservations -- a week prior to cruise is the minimum -- are recommended. Rides take place at 10:30 a.m.

Hi everyone!

We're having a beautiful weekend here in Nevada! Mid 80's, bright sunshine and lots and lots of motorcycles! It's a festival called Street Vibrations! Between Hot August Nights, The Reno Airraces, and Street Vibrations, I'm visitored out! It sure makes the timing of our vacation next year look good!

Can you believe we are coming up on the 1 year countdown? I'm even looking into booking a back to back for the Western right after our cruise. Has anyone ever done a back to back?

I've got 5 days at work until my break! Woo Hoo! A month off to work around the house, work out and read my new book! I'm looking forward to it!

Where is everyone?

I wondered if any of you are thinking of a back to back cruise with this one?
Just asking.....and thinking myself! I just received an e-mail from DCL telling me to watch for big news on the 6th. Are they releasing the 2010 dates earlier than planned?

I'm doing the happy dance tonight! I'm on break for the next 4 weeks! Woo Hoo!

We're expecting snow early tomorrow! How fast things change!

Wanted to say hi to one and all. Welcome aboard Alleluia5 and hubby. This should be a great cruise for everyone. DW, DGD and I are also looking forward to seeing St Croix.
Say Texasgirl that horse back riding looks like alot of fun. Been awhile since the ol' derriere has sat on the back of a horse. I grew up on a small farm and as a kid we rode horses. But it's been awhile, but I suppose it's like riding a bike, you never forget. I hope I get a horse that is smarter then me and can show me the ropes!!!!
We've been busy little bee's around here getting ready for our little 3 day cruise on the Wonder at the end of October. DGD is looking forward to some Trick-n-Treating on board the ship. You would think we are going on a 7 day cruise with all of the activity going on!!!
Well, gots to go and start on the ol' hunny due list for this week-end. Stupid thing keeps getting longer and longer and longer ever week!!! Talk to ya'll again soon.

Secret Mickey - at least the way we did it, goes like this:

1) Everyone who wants to participate submits their name to the person coordinating

2) The coordinator passes out a questionnaire with questions like what your favorite color, Disney character, etc is

3) The coordinator matches each person up with their person to be a Secret Mickey for and gives you their questionnaire

4) You plan little things throughout the week of the cruise - can be a few days, or every day - totally your choice - usually no more that about $25 total in gifts

5) You can drop the gifts off, have the room steward put them in, etc - on the last day you reveal yourself

It was so fun - I will be posting pic on my TR of what I received. But here is how I did mine - each night I delivered something small with a clue as to where my room was. For example one clue was that the last two numbers of my room were the same, another was that I was below my Secret Mickey, etc. One day, I gave them a little bit of a bigger gift and then on the last day, I left a card with my room number and dis name.

If folks are interested, I don't mind organizing the FE and Secret Mickey - unless someone else really wants to do it. Let me know what y'all think!

Glad to be on the cruise with everyone. I'm excited about a first visit to St. Croix. Too bad it'll be in October so I won't have a chance to run in to one of St. Croix's most popular native - Tim Duncan. Oh well, at least I'll still have Castaway Cay to look forward to, and that's...priceless!
