Our first trip ever with kids was in February 2004 when we took our son who was 21 months. We had a great time and I am dying to take him back. He loves the characters even more now and I am trying to decide if getting us back there sooner rather than later will be possible. We originally decided to go back in December 2006 when DS will be 4 1/2 and our DD would be almost 2. I am now considering this December. DS will be 3 1/2 and I am not worried about him at all but DD will only be 10 months.

We would take a very slow pace since we would have a baby with us (heck we need to slower pace for DS) but does anyone have any experience with taking a baby this young? I kind of think of 10 months as a pretty sturdy age but there will still be lots of stuff to lug around.

We went in '03 when my son was 10.5 - 11 months. He wasn't walking yet.
Actually we found it very easy. The whole trip was relaxed. He was able to go on a lot of rides and we used baby swap when he couldn't. It really wasn't difficult at all.

He even took his first drink from a straw while at Disney World (sitting on a curb at Disney/MGM Studios to be exact. :))

We took our twins(boy/girl) when they were 3 1/2 months old and our next trip is in June when they will be 11 months old. In addition, we have a 7 yo boy & 2 yo girl. As long as you plan to go at a slower pace and are flexible to the babies needs you can have a great time.

10 month olds are no problem at disney. But be prepared to take him out of some rides. If you have plenty of room to crawl around in your hotel it will be great. I went with my nephew Calvin and he was no problem at all :cloud9:

I hope I helped!! :) Have a magical trip! :wizard:

We went in Feb when DD was just 9 months and DD decided to learn to walk before we went! So the things I planned on, i.e. space to crawl and not carying her did not work out. But we had a GREAT time. Here are some things that helped me.
I got a Playtex hip hammock to hold her while in line, it was very easy to get her in and out and rolled small to fit under the stroller. ***I just saw on another post that the Hip hammock has been recalled but they will send you replacement if you go to the website and register*****
We took breaks so she could practice her new skills in the play areas like Boneyard and Toon town.
She also slept in the strangest places like Mickey's Philarmagic!
I carried bottles with formula in them and just added bottled water when she needed to have one. (I do know about boiling the formula thing but she has been fine using the bottled water)
we used a micro steamer bag to steralize the bottles and binkys in the food court microwave, we got some strange looks but it works.
Bring Cherrios, if they eat them, because you cannot get them anyhwere in the park.

You will have a wonderful experience that you will never get again. Children grow too fast and what magic may capture their attention this time, may not the next trip. One of my best memories is her standing on my lap at Beauty and the Beast, really paying attention and clapping her hands!

becka, first of all you kids are beautiful...
We went to WDW with my DS who at the time was 6 months old. We also have a DD who at that time was 4. The trip was to celebrate her 4th birthday.

I think its not hard at all to travel WDW with a baby..sometimes its easier because they are in a diaper & you don't have to keep taking them to the public toilets! :scared: My DS had colic so bad & cried ALL the time but it was so funny the week we went to WDW he was so happy. We have a picture of him with a huge smile on his face after cinderella kissed him. I guess there was so much to see that he was distracted from his colic.

There are so many rides that a baby can go on (like pooh, small world, peter pan)...Anyway I think you will have a great time.
