10% discount

I went to my disney store today and bought 2 cute t shirts handed them my dvc card they said we do not get 10 off any more is this true and if so why were we not informed thanks Kim

The CM is probably confusing DVC with the Disney Club. Disney Club was discontinued as of January 1. My Disney Store still honors the DVC discount.

They get confused with Disney Club which is now gone. I would take your receipt back and ask to see the manager.

This has happened to us before. Print it off of the member site and take it into the store and ask to see the manager. They will fix it for you. Also, they will let their staff know about it so they next time you come in, they will know what to do.

I am a Disney Store CM. DVC still gets the 10% discount and our store knows this because several of us own DVC, but I have heard from this board that some don't know. If this happens ask for the Store Manager and if he or she doesn't know, ask them to call thier District Manager.

Just got the discount yesterday.

I always wonder if we will have the problem, after seeing so many posts about it, but we never have had an issue - not even a question about it.

At least you guys still have a Disney Store, the one in our local mall (supposedly the largest in the state), no longer has one!
