I am really enjoying your report. I was in Disney some of the days you were there-June 8-15. Hey, did you see me there? ha! Your children are adorable and I am loving all the pictures. I especially love the one of your mother getting off the bus with her arms out, and there is your son, the same way! SO cute!!! I rode in the front of the monorail for the first time this trip and it was awesome! Why didn't I ever do that before? Anyway, thanks for sharing your trip with all of us! What a fabulous birthday surprise!! I am glad it turned out so well!!

I wanted to do something special too for my 30th b-day in 2000. We saved the gift certificate hubby got from work the previous year for one night at the Banff Springs Hotel (very pricey fancy hotel) and well, it didn't turn out so well.

Just as we arrived in Banff, a snowstorm hit, the hotel room (which is about $500/night!) was dirty (hair and dust everywhere!) and the place I wanted to eat at for my birthday dinner closed 5 minutes before we got there.

We drove into town and ate at this diner which was horrible! The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel (included in the certificate) and I ended up with food poisoning!! It was horrible

Hubby felt so bad but it wasn't his fault. He tried so hard to make it special. I told him that it was special cus I got to spend it with him.

Shoud have gone to Disney!

OH MY GOSH. . what a horrible 30th you had. I am so sorry! That sounds absolutely awful!!! Yes, next time for any special occassion I HIGHLY recommend Disney! (but hey. . .you already knew that! )

Those were his ears from last year. We did it at MGM, they had a ton of fonts and colors to choose from - I liked them too. He BEGGED for Gold ears this year though. Glad you are enjoying the pics.

OH ,How I waited to see if it was going to pour at MGM..... The 10 times we have been to MGM it has POURED big time.. it took us 9 trips to see Fantasmic!!! Last year we waited in the drizzle and and prayed and hoped..

IT was Wonderful...

And i thought it was just ME, MGM, and RAIN...EVERY time it pours when we're there! I think its a secret thing WDI installed to make ToT more realistic!
