Hi Lesley, thank you for sharing your trip reports. You are indeed a gifted narrator. My wife, DD8, DD6 and myself will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge August 16-24. This will be our first stay at "The Lodge." Since our itinerary is very similar to yours, it was easy to be absorbed into your adventure. Your reports have been a welcome prelude to what I hope will be a wonderful family vacation. Anyway, thanks again for sharing.

Bill, so glad you enjoyed it. Have a GREAT trip to the lodge coming up (must say I'm quite jealous). I am glad the itineraries were helpful. Have a GREAT trip!!!

I'm sure this thread will stay afloat for a very long time...You are so interesting in the way you tell your Disney story. You should be a writer. The only bad thing is my trip is not until the 1st week of October.I know it's not that long but it seems as eternity. I just thought I'd say as you wrote this story I felt as if it were the things I would say or how I would react. You have the very same interests as me and I thought for a moment we might be long lost relatives. LOL My DH & DD are so excited about our next trip. I have told them all about your little tips and ideas and unexpected adventures and they have enjoyed as well. Thank you!!!Seems as tho you have an amazing family.Hope your next trip is sprinkled with extra pixie dust!!!!I'll try to post about my trip when I get back but I am sure it won't be as much fun to read as yours.Keep up the postings in the future we live for this stuff!!!!!!!Rock on your fellow Disney fanatic and possible twin in thoughts and frame of mind that is for you are a lot slimmer than I and prettier so it's just thru the thought process trust me...Hope My daughter has as good a time as your kids they seem precious oh and Kudos to your husband on jumping right in there to bring it all together seems like a nice guy. Oh well you guys have fun next time....And Thanks again!!!!! :)

Thanks! You are so kind. I hope you have an amazing trip, enjoy it. I'm sure your daughter will have a WONDERFUL time!!

Thanks so much, I know, it has stayed alive and I must say I'm happy to see when I click on my user CP that someone has logged on and enjoyed it.
Have a GREAT trip to POR in November, that would be my number one choice if we went to a moderate. My friend went this summer and loved it. Had a great trip!

I loved your TR and all the pics that went with it. I cannot wait to go back to WDW, but your TR made me want to go back even more!

Your kids are adorable! You are a great narrator.

Leslie,

Thank you for taking the time to write this AWESOME trip report. You are a wonderful writer. I was just about as excited as you when your parents showed up. I also felt for you when Tim changed plans on you. I would have reacted the same.

You have given me (and everyone else) excellant advice for the trip my husband and I have planned for Halloween. :teeth:

BTW, your kids are cute as can be.

Congratulations on joining DVC (must say I'm a bit jealous, just can't convince DH yet) I'll keep working on him.
SO glad you enjoyed the trip report. Thanks for posting!

First of all, welcome to the Dis, I see you have 4 posts, be careful. . .it's ADDICTING!!!
So glad you enjoyed the trip report and it made you feel the emmotions with me, that was the goal and so glad it worked. I was worried others would be bored when reading the report, but glad the pic's and the narration brought it to life a bit and it was entertaining.
Have a GREAT Halloween trip. I can't do that being a teacher but I've always wanted to, how fun . . . a costume party in Disney, HAVE FUN!!!!!

Thank you! We are excited. It is the works right now, but we should be members by the end of the week. I hope eventually you can convince your DH to join. In the long run, I know for us, it will be cheaper.

What a wonderful TR :) I feel like I got to enjoy the trip along with your family (and what a special one you have). Thanks so much for sharing it with me. I'm looking forward to my first trip ever to Disney next March.

What a great TR!! Your narration was fantastic. After reading it and the wonderful moments you got to share with your children (who are both simply adorable btw), I can't wait until DH and I have little ones to take to Disney! I'm already anticipating next year's report.

I really enjoyed reading your TR. Dh and I are taking our two children, dd3 and ds1, to Disney at the end of September. I was so nervous about taking two toddlers...but your TR has eased my mind quite a bit. We will be staying at POP because we decided to go on short notice, but dh has been inspired to try out WL as soon as our son is old enough to do the whole bunk bed thing.

Lesley,

I really enjoyed reading your post. I too am obsessed with Disney and my whole family used to laugh at me but I've talked about it so much that most of them have taken trips there or are planning to visit soon. They won't admit it but they have now become DISNEY FREAKS!!! :)
I became in love with Disney World when I went for the first time for my honeymoon 3 years ago this November. My DH always says he created a monster because it was his idea to take me.
I was wondering... is that how you became obsessed to? I noticed that your first trip was on your honeymoon too?

Glad you enjoyed it. Our first family trip was at POP when Lauren was 9 months old . We loved POP (having never experienced deluxe before, it is better that way because Deluxe spoils you- just a fare warning) I think your ds will LOVE the baby pool at pop, lots of jets, and your dd3 will LOVE the goofy jets at pop too, have a GREAT trip!!! Do give WL a try some day when kids are old enough for bunks and it's in the budget, but be warned, you will be HOOKED!!!

Glad you enjoyed it, from one Disney Freak to another . . .isn't it GREAT!!! Actually my obsession began as a child with trips to Disney. I just always loved it. We had Disney themes in our wedding (invitations, cake topper, favors, mickey and minnie bubbles that said "and they lived happily ever after", and OF COURSE Mickey and Minnie bride and groom ears to wear out of the reception. I think it is an obsession I will pride in passing onto my children ;)
