10 day hopper no exp. walk me through this please

I panicked as the no expiration was going away and invested in

10 day PH waterparker - fun option - no expiration tickets...

...but I 'm not even sure how they work.

I get 10 days admission to the parks - got it.

do I also get 10 days to the water parks or only if I choose to use my fun visit for that.

So I can go to water park 7 times - golf 3 times?

Also I can use up all my park admissions over 5 years time - and then 10 years from now use my fun options?

And is there a site that keeps track of all this progress that I can see or do I just keep track myself?

My question about the no expire tickets is, what is your ticket? Is it like a normal Disney ticket/card? If you lose it, is there some type of way to redeem your tickets you have remaining? I would not want to have to keep up with a card for 5 years. That would basically mean carrying with me at all times.

There isn't anyplace you can view what's left on the cards.

Look at at this way. Since you have the park hopper option, the water park fun and more option only cost you $26, and it lets you visit any combination of the water parks, Disney Quest, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Oak Trail Golf Course, or the miniature golf course 10 times. That means that regardless of what you choose to use it on, it's only costing you $2.60 per visit. But if you don't think it's worth it to use one of the admissions at a miniature golf course, then don't.

What I have done to track what was used on our non expiring tickets: I place a piece of scotch tape on the back of the card. And I put a D for park days and + for the more and just add hash mark in the appropriate place when I use them.

Can these tickets be added to a MDE Account? Wouldn't that tell you how many days you have used?

Most people dont get NE tickets so cant save their fun visits for a later trip so a few fun visits may get unused so using it for mini golf isnt a waste. Last trip with wpf&m we only used 2 of our 5 visits.

There is absolutely no sense in purchasing a 10 day ticket of any kind (that isn't no-expiration) if you are not going to be able to use it within 14 days from the first usage. After that whatever is left on it will no longer be valid. If you are going to use all 10 days during than it will be no different then any other number of tickets you buy. If you buy one and not use it for 5 years all you need to do is put it in a safe place mark on it when it was purchased and a reference number on the receipt. Store the receipt someplace else. With the receipt and proper ID they can reissue the ticket.

I would never buy one with the "other" park options, because I want some flexibility in that. But from what I understand the same thing applies to those extras as just the admission ticket to the parks. No matter what number of days you buy, be sure that you only purchase the amount that you PLAN to use.

I started out with regular tickets because it will get harder and harder to even get a no-expiration ticket. With that it never expires. No matter how long you take to use it up. People seem to complicate this situation completely. I have done this for years now. It is easy to store in a place where you know it's at and retrieve it when you need it again. Two things. When you get the ticket photograph front and back and store a hard-copy along with your receipt. What I do to keep track of days left is to simply take a sticky note and mark on it when I used it and how many days I have used. I do that when I put the card away after a usage. I then stick it to the card and put it away until I need it next. It really is a simple thing.

I have 8 year old tickets with plus options left. Photocopy it, make an excel doc with the codes on the back, lots of options to protect it. And we keep ours with our family records - you don't have to carry it.
