OOPS! I think I told the Oct 17th list-starter to put me on that list! I am going Oct 29 and Dec 17 and I swear I CANNOT get the dates straight in my head!
Guess I better go fix that one
I guess the doubt will be resolved and everyone will already know that I am just plain
We will be at home handing out neighborhood candy.
I homeschool my girls--and I made a chain link (kinda like the christmas garland school kids make for a classroom tree) out of orange paper to serve as our countdown. Of course, we made it and used it for 2 days and then evacuated, so I updated it today and removed several links. DD4 doesn't get that it is her countdown yet as it is so large--but we will be adding it to the morning routine.
DD4 will be Piglet (was supposed to be little mermaid--but they so did not have anywhere close to the right color of green at the fabric store or Wal-mart and all the present costumes are aerials wedding gown--not mermaid).
DD2 will be Marie from the Aristocats. She will probably be hot--but it was a steal of a clearance from Disney catalogue.com and we took our older daughter in a similarly made pooh costume one year and she was fine.
Are any of the adults dressing up?
I'm debating on whether or not to do so--I found a charlie brown halloween shirt at Wal-mart for me and one at Target for hubby--though he's afraid he'll look dorky in it. DD4 wants me to go as Mrs. Potts--aside from the $$$, I think mounting rides might be--okay will be a challenge.
Just so you don't think I was being picky about DD4's costume--the green fabrics were of the lime and olive variety--so she couldn've been the little "Marine" mermaid--but I just couldn't do it.
Here are names for a thread I had started for MNSSHP on the 29th. I collected those names off of the "Who's going in Oct" thread plus those that responded to the thread:
Look for a group of Lion King-ish people, a Strawberry Shortcake (me), a superhero or star wars character of some sort (my son) and my wet blanket husband and brother-in-law who arent dressing up.
My sister and I will be there the 24th and 29th! Yes, twice! Can't decide on costumes yet. Still working on that part. 20 days and we'll be at WDW for the very first time.:thewave:
Add 2 more adult-type to the party. No costumes for us, since it's a quick 3 day trip, but we plan on having fun anyway. Besides, we have to refill our candy jars....we finally ran out of the candy we got LAST year
