Lucky you..I'm not jealous:sad2: :sad2:

After walking around and dealing with 31 years of winter weather, I'll be ready for some warmer winter days ahead, and NO shoveling of sn*w!!! ;)

Disney on Ice was awesome. Very good show. The drive home on the other hand was awful. Got done with the show, alittle ways out of Milwaukee stopped for lunch. A ways down the road, ran into snow, blowing winds and white out conditions at times. About 1 hr from home hit the icy roads, traffic was moving about 20 -25 mph, and over 30 cars in the ditches. The trip that took me 2 1/2 hrs to go to, took me almost 4 hrs to come home from.
Needless to say, not doing much today.

By all means stay in and rest today, you surely deserve it!!! :goodvibes

Another reason I want to move south once I retire.......;)

here is a picture of my baby. Don't mind the mess in the background. We are in the process of packing up things to put our house on the market so we are in clutter limbo at the moment! Also my slipcover is in the wash so you get to see our ugly sofa!

Your baby looks just like our Bear-Bear. We got him as a pup back in 1981 and had him until just before we adopted Angelina. He was such a good dog..........:goodvibes

Here you go Shelley...just for you

HP stands four Houses of Parliment.

Up til recently it was made really close to where we live - Aston in Birmingham - just a few miles away. The factory has now moved to Denmark (I think).

Other theories on the name - named after Harry Palmer who made up the recipe then sold it on.

Are you all sick of hp facts yet?:rotfl2:

Shelley - I'm loving that mickey scuba diving sticker (and wuite a few others) - did you get them off a website?

Your dog looks just like my sisters, the trouble is.. I dont see cute - I just see big scary sharp teeth:scared1: ....can you tell I'm not used to dogs:rolleyes1

I'm even scared of our hamster:rotfl2: - his bite is painful too

Holy crap Shel!!! Did they have a sale on Disney Jolees??? :lmao:

I still have tons of SB supplies but ever since I went digital I have a hard time doing my traditional scrapbooking.

I should get a move on though and start scrapping, it's been way too long. :sad2:

Cass,
Is it easier to digital scrapbook, meaning do you have to be computer savy? Are there websites to help to get started?

Here is the DSB faq, it has a lot of great info, probably more than I could tell you about.

I enjoy it because I like computer graphics and the freedom it gives you. Plus it's a little cheaper too :rolleyes1

I don't know if I would say it's EASIER, sometimes I spend 2 hours on a layout :scared1: But I am an anal retentive perfectionist :rotfl2:

Hiya, hiya, hiya. We just got back about an hour ago. Great time. Nice mini dis meet with Jeff, Suz and ds (what a cutie).

I'll have to get the pics up on the pc for all to see. We didn't really take that many. When you've been there so many times, you find yourself taking the same pics over and over. ;)

Yay :yay: Mike and Robin are back!!

Hope you guys had a fabulous time :goodvibes Can't wait to see a few pics ::yes::

I probably won't get them done tonight. We're a little tired.

As usual... we ran ourselves ragged. :rotfl2:

Now we need a week to rest.

Thanks for the updates on the new thread. I'm going to try to go back and catch up, but it's going to be tough. ;) :)

Welcome home guys!!! Hope you had a wonderful time. Can't wait to hear all about it.

That's right up my ally. I'm gonna check that out. :woohoo:

Anal retentive...(my biggest problem)

Ask Mike...;)

:goodvibes I haven't gone to the store in a few months and that is always bad news!!

We flew in this afternoon to bitter cold, snow and 45 MPH wind gusts.

Landing was a little rough...the plane was rocking and fishtailing all
the way in. :scared:

Hi Robin! I'm Shelley and my husband is Woody.

I think I do remember you now...

After a week of very little sleep... my mind is mush. :rotfl2:

As the other KKers will tell you... we don't sleep much when we're on vacation.

My 20 yr old dd and her boyfriend went with us. We put them to shame. :confused3 They kept going back to the room to relax in the middle of the day because they couldn't take it. We were still going strong. :lmao: :lmao:

I told them, "Your guys better get your butts in shape." :rotfl2:

Well, I better get some unpacking done. I'll catch will all of you later this evening.

Nice talking to you. :goodvibes

Where will you call home after Rob retires Paige? I'm guessing somewhere in LA???:wizard:

Actually, no, not Louisiana, but I do know I want to settle in a warm climate. The snow scares me. Virginia is beautiful and we get all 4 seasons here (snow only lasts a little while) but the traffic near DC is HORRIBLE! To tell the truth Rob could probably get a civilian job in the same office where he is currently, but the traffic would make him very grumpy and I don't want to live with that.:rotfl: And I think we will want to make a clean break from the military; it would be frustrating for him to be a civilian working with Marines--maybe he would miss the uniform too much.:lmao: I really want him to try to get a job at Disney. He is an operations analyst and they have jobs available at Disney currently. But, who knows what will happen in the next 40 months (he will retire in June 2011). For now the Marine Corps and Quantico Marine Corps base is home.:)
