I haven't gone to the store in a few months and that is always bad news!!

I would be afraid to go to my SB store. I haven't shopped there (except for DIS Tag stuff) in about 2 years

I can go to any kind of store and not spend a single cent and I'm ok. If I pop in a SB store, I want to buy everything

Hiya, hiya, hiya. We just got back about an hour ago. Great time. Nice mini dis meet with Jeff, Suz and Logan (what a cutie).

I'll have to get the pics up on the pc for all to see. We didn't really take that many. When you've been there so many times, you find yourself taking the same pics over and over.

I saw that it was playing today and I missed it....dang it! Yeah, I love going to New Orleans. Our absolute fave is Cafe Du Monde in the French Quarter. We never miss a trip there when we visit the city. There are Cafe Du Monde restaurants in other locations, but there is nothing like being in the French Quarter.

I like Cafe Du Monde also. We like the Hurricanes at Pat Obriens. We had breakfast at Brennans. It was great. Walt and I havent been in a couple years. maybe soon. Diane

I just told Rob that if he joined me for trivia on the cruise there would be guys there that he could chat with about SW. He said "Star Wars Trivia!!!! I can pack it in my suitcase!!"

I just finished eating chicken stir fry Considering I don't like veggies, or chicken really for that matter, I am proud of myself But that pizza sounds sooooo good Bendy

Pete's a Star Wars fan too - I'm sure he'd like to see how he does against other SW fans!

That's what so great about NOLA...there's such a variety of restaurants. Many people think it is only cajun food, but really you can get good steaks (Commander's Palace), creole food, and even Italian (some places have really good muffellatas).

I think I've told you this before, but the best cajun food is in Lafayette, about 2 hours west of NOLA. Maybe Walt will back me up?

I think Walts mothers house is the best cajun food in Louisiana. She cooks us every thing so good when we go visit. Makes me kind of hungry right now for her cooking. Diane

Anal retentive...(my biggest problem)

Yup, this is me too!
Not as bad as I used to be though.


I was on a medication..... Cymbalta for not even a year, BAD EVIL medicine!
It worked for something that I didn't even take it for but didn't work for what I had originally started it up for.

Anyway, what I can tell you is that it REALLY MESSED UP MY BRAIN!
And let me tell you that my brain is messed up enough, but that med really altered things for me.

In a good way I'm not as anal retentive as I used to be, I'm MUCH more laid back.
But in a bad way, I'm not as anal retentive as I used to be, because now I don't get nearly as much stuff done as I used to and that med changed it all for me. I cannot even try to develop my old habits again!

The withdrawel from it was also EVIL!

Anyways, enough about that but, I frequently talk of being anal and there are 2 girls at work who get upset and have made remarks about using "THAT WORD!" Like "WE DON'T USE THAT KIND OF LANGUAGE IN OUR HOUSE!"

I've tried to explain to them the OTHER meaning of anal, but they just don't or won't get it

Too funny! I still use it around the one girl whenever I can

Hi everyone!

I'm just catching up from Friday...you've been a chatty bunch!

We spent the weekend at Pete's sister's house with some other family, and had a family b-day party for Thomas and his cousin Anthony, who is 12 days younger than Thomas. Anthony also has a younger brother, Andrew, who will be 3 in February. So, the three cousins had a blast playing together all weekend. I helped my brother-in-law make a special cake for the boys - a dragon. Pics to come later...

Thanks to all for the veggie suggestions! I'm making my grocery list for the week, and this helps!

Wow you did go wild. I love all of it. I have never scrapbooked before. It looks like fun. Maybe I will do a scrapbook for our anniversary trip to WDW in May. Where did you get all of it? Diane
