Morning/Afternoon everyone!

I haven't peeked outside yet, but the radar shows rain now, with snow later :sad2:

We were going to go swimming today, but we'll have to see how the roads are. I get so frustrated having my plans change because of the weather!

:cake: :bday: party:

I'm a little early since your birthday is the 17th, but we're going to be pretty busy tomorrow and I didn't want to forget to send you some birthday wishes.

Have a great day and don't forget to tell us all about your dinner experience that you had tonight! :goodvibes

Just popping in quick while my coffee is brewing......

We got to our friends' house to pick them up for dinner and ...........

the whole neighborhood was there to yell surprise and eat and drink and wish me a happy birthday. It was a great party. Claiborne's will have to wait until another time.

Coffee's done.

Karen, As I was remembering about your sister and how she wasn't close with you, and from what I've heard about your mom and you, I was curious....
how do they get along?....Your mom and sister?

No, Mom and my sister havent got along in years.
She visits for half an hour at christmas
My sister has always been quite a loner even as a kid, she doesnt mix well with people - she's more of a dog person. Theres 4 years between us so she didnt play with me much when we were little. All my family are wierd:confused3 (except me of course;) )

Also, in case you haven't peeked, I added the pumpkin clipart that Jen found and the Mickey Ears to the door signs page. I did two Mickey Ears set per page so that there is less waste when you are printing them off onto magnetic paper.

Fab job Cass!

I love the way you did your names in the blank one - I know I'm a real pain but I'd love one with our names in if possible and not too time consuming for you:flower3: - I wouldnt know where to start - you're my hero:worship:

My hoagie was about 12" long and very tasty!!! :thumbsup2

The pic below is just about what my hoagie looked like.

Ooooooooooooooh - looks yummy! - I like hoagies!

But before all of this we were bad and discovered the Cheesecake Factory. Very good food but expensive. Oh and Karen, cheesecake galor, I had the tuxedo cheesecake (chocolate heaven), Sean had the tiramisu cheesecake (he loved it), and Sarah had the Chocolate Peanut Butter cheescake (a big Ellis no-no, but that's ok it wasn't that great). We brought home a piece of carrot cake cheesecake, yummo! Oh and they do ship them.;)

I love the cheesecake factory - we always go to Mall of Millenia just for the cheesecake factory in Orlando.:cloud9: My favourite is the white choc and raspberry - heavenly!

Sounds like fun!

I am getting better - and with the nasty weather outside it's the perfect excuse to stay home and rest up!

I've been surfing the Disneyland board to see if there's any "must-know" tips before we go in December....since we're only there for 2 days I want to make sure we do everything we want to do.

Cass - by the way, I forgot to ask you...

What program do you use for designing the logos, etc., and is it the same program you use for digital scrapbooking?

A little Sunday morning humor to start the day...............

Andy - too funny!

Yea, I picture that to be Hazel in a few more years............:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

She already got in the wrong car one time when we were out shopping. Angelina and I nearly wet ourselves from laughing so hard. The funniest part was, there was another man waiting for his wife to come out of the store, and as Hazel opened the door to get in the car, he said to her, "Ma'am, I think you're getting into the wrong car." The next thing we heard was Hazel scream, that's when Angelina and I lost it................:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh no! Poor Hazel! But I bet it was pretty funny :lmao:

I saw all of this and had to read them all to Sean. He is a huge reader, especially history. Brenda he will be moving into your house ASAP, we have only managed 3 bookshelves in our little house and if he could get rid of all the other furniture and put bookshelves in he would, but I won't let him, that would mean taking MY tv out:cool1: He takes it after my MIL who is a big British Royalty reader, especially the Tudor period.

If you two are ever in the armpit of the Midwest let us know and you can come visit our house / library.

I, too, am a huge history reader (Jay and I both majored in history in college so between our foreign language classes and required coursework we saw a lot of each other ... he couldn't ditch me!). I'm kind of all over the place because I get interested in something and then read it almost exclusively and then get bored and move on to something else.

Our two biggest interests are the American Civil War and WWII - have an entire bookcase with nothing but Civil War books ... :scared:

Looking forward to some history talk on the cruise if your DH is so inclined! :thumbsup2

Sean said he feels the same way, when he was finished he read John Steinbeck's Sweet Thursday. He suggests The Mercury Visions of Louis Daguerre, by Domini Smith.

I'll have to look that one up ... thanks for the recommendation! :thumbsup2

How fun for you!! Happy Birthday Sistah P!!!! :flower3:

Well ... now that I've killed the community fellowship on the thread this morning I think I'll go steal some candy from a baby. :rotfl2:

I couldn't find any babies who had candy this morning so I had to content myself with stealing the last pancake from Jason. :rotfl2:

Jen & Cass: that mick-o-lantern doorsign is awesome! I may just have to figure out to to make a doorsign now ... :scared:
