Neil c/o Karen :goodvibes - Woody has a Traxxes T-Max and a Savage with no motor in in right now (another reason to go to the hobby shop today  ) he is building an extended big block T-Max with a wasp.28 (whatever that is) He buys a lot of parts on ebay so at least that saves some money!

I'll let Neil know - boys and their toys eh! - its quite an expensive hobby - especially when he lets our little ds play with them and he drives it straight into a lamp post at top speed:scared1:

This was $15 ... and believe it or not we shared it. ;)

I think there was a Citron martini, a blue curacao martini, a toberlone martini (when you care enough to drink the very best!) and a strawberry martini. There's one I can't remember, but it was still tasty.

I finally got to see Karen's prezzie - I want one too, but with goofy! :thumbsup2

How do I get one? Who do I pay? What do I do?

I need food - haven't eaten since 7AM this morning and am running on caffeine ... :scared1:

Ok put us down for one...:rolleyes1

Bryce would love to play Harry Potter Trivia w/you

Rosie too wound love to be apart of Team Potter...:)

I think I might have found something I want to do in Sint Maarten :thumbsup2

http://www.stmaartencruiseexcursions.com/LoterieFarmZipLine.htm

It's a zipline tour. Something I've always wanted to do but never got a chance. :woohoo:

Cass we planned to do this last time around but when one member of our party stood on the scales it read "Sorry we don't do groups":scared1: :sad2: :scared1:

Heather,Karen we spent 7 hours doing 200 miles getting home yesterday up the M1...:rolleyes1

Martini mistake ... that was a cosmo, not a lemon-citron, sorry.

And AFEG, you crack me up! At least you didn't get the scale response that read: "You can't take your car to the treetops!!" :lmao:

You feeling better Dear?.....

ps...Mother Goose i haven't forgotten you :rolleyes1

Must go as i have to take the "Young adults" to a party...:scared1:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Is someone taking orders?, Oooops I mean Names for this Martini Pary? I'll join in if I can sit next to someone who will finish all my martini's after I take one lousy sip out of each. I'm such a dud lately. Seems my mouth likes alcohol, my brain likes alcohol but my ulcer wants nothing to do with it.

And afeg...I think those zipline employees would go running if they saw the likes of me in line for a ride. You really do need to change your screen name to A Phat English Gent instead.

Nancy you can sit next to me.

I say that we table the idea for now and bring it back for discussion later this year once we hit the 12-month mark. That way we should have some more new cruisers joining the thread as well and we won't have to keep repeating ourselves over and over and over again.

BTW - I'm finally working on setting up my own blog!! Before long all my TRs will be posted over there instead of here (that way I can include non-Disney trips and people can feel free to say whatever they want without the risk of offending some of the more delicate DISers who seem to lurk on my TRs and then complain to mods without ever saying anything to me first).

:woohoo:

Somehow I knew you'd be the first volunteer. :rotfl2: It's a date!::thumbsup2

Good idea Boozey Bendy;)

Are you serious? :scared1: What the he11 could people be complaining about? Maybe they're looking to fill out an injury report because they split their sides laughing? Let me at 'em,... let me at 'em. I'd have to call that another Traveshamockery!!:headache:

I don't want to get into the specifics here, suffice to say that it's something that's been building for a while now.

I'm going to keep the blog "invite only" to start so once I feel like it's ready to open up, anyone who wants to be allowed access will receive an invitation from me.

Hi everyone!

We've been busy and I haven't checked the BOB board for a few weeks and OMG! Closed thread, new thread, Timon's new site, and the martini tasting! Woo hoo!:cool1: Count me in for those yummy ones! On our cruise last year I got stuck with the icky bourbon and gin martinis! No thanks! BLICK!:crazy2:

Hope everyone is well! We've got 50+ degrees today so we're going to head outside and enjoy the warmth! :flower3:

Anyone interested in wristbands again too? How about nice bright orange ones to go with Cass' logo? "I'm with Bob - Oct 24 2009"

Jeff might remember who he used from last time - they were good.

I'll start....

Karen, Neil and Ellis
Andy and Hazel

Us Too!!!!
Lori, Scott, Alex, Julia and Harrison
My dad, Larry

I'll Tanya say if they want some.

I soooo love the idea of the zipline, but I'm not sure about the "balancing on a rope and walking" part:scared:

Are you definately doing it Cass? If I do it I'll be the one yelling

"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP all the way along the zipline:goodvibes

I would sooo love to do the Tinkerbell zipline off the castle.

I am definitely thinking about it. It seems a little pricey though. My only concern is that I don't tolerate heat very well. I'm looking for something that Rob and I would enjoy because I really don't like Sint Maarten and Rob hated it and he doesn't even want to go back. I was thinking of going back to Maho Bay to watch the planes but we've done that before. We are not the sit-on-the-beach-all-day kind of people, so I thought this would be right up our alley :thumbsup2

It was Linda at first. She turned it over to me and since I wasn't participating, Paige and Lynn took it over from me. All kudos go to those two ladies. They did all the work. :grouphug:

That's right! DUH, I knew that

It's like your steak sauce...and its called HP sauce! You can get in some of your food markets.

I always ask for HP sauce when I go to the USA and I always get the weirdest looks. I forget they don't get HP, they have A-1 or similar, which just doesn't taste the same :sad2: I can't eat pork without my HP sauce

BTW - I apologize for my being in this picture, but it's the only one we have of the martini tasting.

I was going to say I love this pic of you. :thumbsup2 You got that windy-blown-away-I'm-on-a-cruise look to you :goodvibes

Cass we planned to do this last time around but when one member of our party stood on the scales it read "Sorry we don't do groups":scared1: :sad2: :scared1:

Perhaps this time around it will say "You're too sexy for this scale!" :woohoo:

Me! Me! Me! :yay:

People are complaining to mods about your thread???? WHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT??? What is wrong with people???

I remember the big hoorah about Mel's trippie and being off-topic. Puuuuuhhhleeeeease! That's what makes some of them so interesting! :sad2:

Some people are only happy when they are making other people miserable. :scratchin

Can't wait to see the new blog!:goodvibes

SG--you can sit by me, too. We could even pour you a martini glass of the "pink stuff" for a swig in between tastes.:thumbsup2

Some people! :headache: So uptight! :headache: So serious! :headache: So in need of an enema!:scared1: :rotfl:

Sorry they're giving you a hard time.:grouphug:

I'm rather bad when it comes to trivia, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say Fantasia. It's the first thing that popped into my head........:lmao:

Yes indeedy. The martini tasting was similar in stucture to the wine tasting - it was $12 per person and included four small martinis (two gin based and two vodka based) with a brief history of the drink and its recent re-emergence as a trendy beverage of choice.

The martini flight in Diversions was $15 and was five vodka based martini (smaller sized) - they were all quite tasty. There was no "class" involved in that one - it was just something the bar was offering. And at five in the afternoon after drinking a whole bottle of wine and some strawberry rum pre-sailaway drinks they went down really smoothly. ;)

I'll scare up some pictures and post them here later. I'd be happy to help plan something depending on what everyone is most interested in doing.

I'm guessing Fantasia.

Nope never heard of swede but I'm certainly willing to try it. I love veggies!

Karen: FYI, I bought some Giants Boogers today just to give them another try. So far it's the only veggie I don't like. Do I just steam them, add a little salt & pepper and that's it?? I'll let you know what I thought about them.

I wanted to guess Fantasia too, but it looks like Bendy and Andy already did.

Yes, fantasia is the correct answer!

Yummm!!!! I could use a few of those right now! We have a local bar offers martini's on special on Friday nights. They are $4.00 and have 12 diff. ones. One night I had 2 each of 9 and 1 of the other 3. :scared: I was ill for a week afterwards!!!
I'd like to see if we could customize a martini tasting for the group. In other words, if no one is interested in gin martinis, then let's see if we can put together a tasting of say ... six vodka martinis for the B.O.Bs. It might cost a bit more but everyone might find the gathering more enjoyable (and tasty).

Just a thought ... we've got plenty of time to work it out because DCL won't even discuss it wth anyone for at least another year.
I'm up for that! A special event for just bobers sounds wonderful!

I'm going to keep the blog "invite only" to start so once I feel like it's ready to open up, anyone who wants to be allowed access will receive an invitation from me.
Me me me! I promise not to be a psyco. :upsidedow

Cass come join Bendy, Jay, Woody and myself in some Guavaberry goodness! It promises to be an insanely good time!

OK, we are getting ready to leave for the night, will probably not be checking in anymore this evening, so see y'all tomorrow............:wave2:

WOW!!! I was correct, I'm 1 for 1, I think I'll stop while I'm batting a thousand.............:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Andy!! I hope you are having a better weekend then the week you had! Woody and I feel for you with the knees. We both have problems and I have had 2 knee surgeries already! Heat and ice are my best friends after we play volleyball.

This is for our friend in WI!;)

In the animated feature The Three Caballeror, why does Pablo the Penguin leave his antarctic home for the South Seas?
