I just looked at the email I got from Disney and it says by Dec. 10. Paige did you rebook on board? Is this in addition to the credit we get for rebooking on board?

You may want to get those CC numbers quickly, since there is a deadline on the CC OBC--Dec 10? 12th? Jeff, do you remember the exact deadline?

I think someone already explained it - it really is fun - my ds would run ahead to see if we had a goodie bag on our door - he'd literally scream - we've been tagged:yay: we've been tagged!:yay:

Thanks for explaining:thumbsup2

Did you have to request it or was it already sorted when you called? I dont have my CC number yet? Should it come in the post?:confused3

Our Castaway Club member credit was already in our stateroom credit, there really wasn't any need to call. I know after the first time we cruised, it took a few months before we got our Castaway Club card numbers. At the time, Hazel was the only one who received a card, then earlier this year, when the new cards were mailed out, we each got one.

Is it possible for you to call DCL? If so, they should be able to give you your member number over the phone.

Yes, this is addition to any onboard booking credit that you received. Jeff booked this cruise for my wife and I during the 10/20/07 cruise and we received the onboard booking credit, plus the 10% discount. When we called DCL earlier, they said we had $250. in stateroom credit.

Seems like I am a day late and a dollar short with my replies this afternoon, I had better get back to work, as my afternoon break time is now over..............:rotfl:

None of us are a dollar short, these days, Andy! We've got OBC!!!!:cool1: :lmao:

Hello...

Am I being a tease if I mention that I've got a quote in hand for this cruise and just need to talk it over with Jason? ;)

Every cruise needs an oybolshoi ... especially if it includes a Sheldon J. Plankton(s) and an AFEG. :thumbsup2

Thanks Paige and Andy! I did just call the Castaway Club number and she said it atomatically should have been applied but she checked to make sure and yes it shows I have the $50.00 Castaway Club credit and the $200.00 credit for booking on board :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

With all the calls I have made to DCL today and yesterday, the cast members have all been very polite, friendly and helpful!!! Great job DCL :thumbsup2

Yes and yes.:cool1:

OMG!!!!! I can't keep up.

I will have to call DCL and make sure they have my OBC. Mine is only $50 cause we booked a cat 11 but if I move it to Dreams they are offering a $100. I wonder if I book with DCL and transfer it to Dreams I will get $150??? Anyone know.

Game sounds like fun, but I would hate to commit and not be able to do it, unfortunatley I don't have any little ones to do the running for me and my teens won't do it unless I pay them:lmao:

Kim,

What $50 are you talking about, the Castaway Club OBC? Did you rebook onboard or not? If so, you would have also got $200 from DCL regardless of the category you booked.

Yes, the $100 from Dreams would be in addition to the Castaway Club OBC, so $150.

What people who rebooked on board are getting is $350-$450 depending on the category. Cat's 8-12 are getting $350 ($200 rebooking OBC, $50 CC OBC, and $100 from Dreams). Cat's 7 and higher are getting $450 ($200 rebooking OBC, $50 CC OBC and $200 from Dreams).

Hope that helps.

As for Tag, if you get the teenagers to do it, tell them if they get caught they have to sing. I think it was Susan from our last cruise that told her teenagers that.

Kim,

DH and I ran every one of our DIStag bags ourselves, and the majority of them together! It was kind of fun to run around the ship!

No worries though, if you don't want to play. It's just an "extra" thing that some of us did. There will still be LOTS of other fun things going on - at least if I have anything to say about it! :cool1:

I think I got $150 OBC from AAA last time, and I booked a cat 8 last time too. I might check with them. Then I'd get $400!

That would be correct. AAA gives $150 OBC for Cats 4-9 and $75 OBC for Cats 10-12.

Ok, It's hard to get excited about planning this far in advance, especially since I've got another cruise and probably two trips to WDW before Oct 2009 but you have to start some time...

Who's gone on the Eastern before and what are the can't miss excursions?

I know this might be sad to say, but we have been on three Eastern cruises, but we really didn't do much as far as excursions go. Our destination is the SHIP, moreso than the ports. We just like to get on the ship and RELAX!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
