TAG LIST SO FAR

Anyone else want to join? We cut the list off at 20 last time. I think it was a great number - not too many and we got them done within the week. Plus re space in cases - it might be difficult if it gets too big with our luggage space etc. Depends upon what we choose of course - some of those sure were big last time round.

I'll volunteer to help run it if someone else will volunteer to help me - you get your own title of "Tag Assistant":lmao: (of course...that makes me the Tag Master;) ):rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I am absolutely no good at spread sheets etc, so I need someone with pc knowledge:rotfl:

Jeff,
Now that we know where we are going, what do you think they will be doing with that extra week during dry dock?

Not sure what they'll do. I would love a mini (or would that be a Minnie) golf course on the ship, but they don't have the room.

Maybe because they are going 3 years in between instead of 2 they are going to do a larger overhaul.

The rules of the FO (Fresh one) are as follows: if you get the first post on a page you need to then post again (to have the first and second posts on a page) to claim an FO. If someone else posts in that second slot, you are denied. That's why the 40 second rule kills you. If there are a lot of us on (and that happens more often than not) then usually someone will steal your FO.

Thanks Steve for defining the FO. I believe Chris, who we are hoping will join us here, started it on the old thread.

I tried to stop it early, but it looks like everyone wants to play that game.

But with the milestones, how about we say those are every 5,000th post? Granted we did 1,000th on the last thread, but who know it would go to 40,000 posts (by the way, are we going to push that over soon?). I think this one will go well beyond 40,000 posts based on this group and what we did over there. Thoughts?

And to the new KKers, as I keep saying, please don't let that scare you away.

I can be your "tag assistant"...I have a very basic understanding of spreadsheets, but I am overall pretty organized...or is it organised? :)

However, we might want to wait a year or so, and let some other folks (those who aren't obsessive-two-year-in-advance-planners) join in too!

Wow! - what a day!

Hardly slept last night and gave up at 5am....I was just too excited:lmao:

Neil and I went TV shopping again today - we've chosen one:yay: ...thats a Greece holiday, a Florida nd cruise holiday and now a tv in 3 days:rolleyes1 ....the credit card company is going to love us:rolleyes:

Just got back from the doctors - had to organise all Ellis's medication and repeat prescriptions etc....wow! - it was soooo easy:eek: - normally its a real battle at our old doctors to get anything from them - this one just gave me everything I wanted off my list:eek:  - she's even referring Ellis to get allergy tested - the last place refused point blank to do it:eek: - she seems like a great doctor:thumbsup2

Well, I'm glad you found a doctor you can work with - it's SO important to have one that is willing to work with you. I've had doctors (not our regular Dr. but urgent care and the like) that don't listen to me about things and I get so mad!

You could start the list now. Once you have things going and a description of the game (I'd steal Nancy's wording from the other thread), I can put something regarding it in the first post. New people can then PM either of you if they are interested. I think people should just plan on 30. Then if we don't go with that many, there may be some people you want to give one to that didn't play. Just a thought.

I think the idea of doing ornaments is great. With it being small and as into it as we were last time, I think you could go to 25 or 30. Not much more though. Heck at least 6 of us are right near each other, that will be done in no time (btw Walt and Di, I may tag you on the Adjoining door between our rooms :rotfl2: ).

Andy,

Not out braving the elements yet? Just got in from blowing the driveway. It sounds like it is still snowing by my office (near the lake, I live about 25 miles inland). It is heading your way today I think.

Stay warm and safe.

Jeff

Just got in for lunch, the sn*w started here just around 10am, it is really coming down at the moment and the ground is starting to get covered. I just finished reading one meter book with 120 accounts in it. Will start the next book after lunch, but not sure how much of that I will get done. I have to pick up my paycheck, when I turn this meter book in, then run to the bank. If the sn*w keeps up like this, I will have to pick Angelina up from school around 2:10 and take her home, Hazel doesn't drive in the sn*w.

Wacht out...I may organize the list so all you SPH room people STILL have to run all over the ship! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

:rolleyes1

We're from Kenosha.

Teachers convention week is a good one for us as the kids don't miss much school. It seemed like half the ship was from Wisconsin this year. This will be our 4th annual DCL trip over this week.

My husband works in Kenosha--we live on the north side of Racine. Enjoying all the snow this morning??

Kim,

Hi there!

Last time we cruised (sorry if you get sick of hearing that:)) we played DIStag. I usually describe it as a cross between secret santa and tag. We all brought little gifts for the other participants (there were 20, so we each brought 19 little gifts) and throughout the week we would give out our gifts according to the order on the list while trying not to get caught. As you got "tagged", you went and delivered your next gift. It was a fun game, and we all got some really neat things from our buddies we cruised with.
