I took the kids picture today for our Christmas Card. Here's what we got....

This is the one we used

The smiles were pretty good on this one and I really liked that it shows the heart in the center of the bench.

This one is probably one of my all-time favorite pictures of them.

Love those photos Steve!
You and Laura are very creative, and you with all your decorating too!:thumbsup2

Got them on Page 1 Nancy. :thumbsup2

With our cruise nickname shortened to "BOB" (by the way, good thing it wasn't "Bash on our Boat" because then it would be "****" or "BEWB" since it will get *'d out), should Rose be on this cruise since it is named for her honey?

I'm working on it Jeff!

Bob is still hoping for Alaska though

My turn to ask for some prayers and pixie dust from our friends here.

Al just found out that he is in atrial fibrilation again, which means he has an abnormal heart beat (you should see the EKG they did Wed. evening). He was diagnosed with this almost 3 years ago and in the course of the following year we spent multiple weekends in the hospital to have him started on new meds and have his heart shocked hoping to get it back into a normal rhythym. His heart would cooperate for a few days and always within 2 weeks he would be back into atrial fib. So we moved on to a newer invasive procedure called a cardiac ablation and that has worked for about a year and a half. He and I are very "bummed" as he puts it. We won't know for sure what they are going to want to do until next Wed. when he sees the Electrophysiologist but as much as he doesn't want to go through the ablation again that seems to be what his internest thinks will happen. I am hoping that by some miracle when he goes in next week his heart will be in a normal rhythym again and this was just a short episode of irregularity. So any extra prayers in our direction would be great about now!

Hi Rose

This is the perfect cruise for you and Bob to go on! You could always go to Alaska after this, maybe one of the new Disney ships will go to Alaska.

Thanks again for your beautiful KK ornament!!!! It looks great on our tree!!!!

Hey all eastcoasters.......
I think we should try to plan meeting this coming summer. VA, WV, NJ, and OH aren't that far apart!!!! (Did I miss anyone?)
Or we could include our Wisconsin buddies and meet at Cedar Point for a long weekend. We would definitely be up for that.:thumbsup2

NY!:thumbsup2

Rose--maybe can we use this reason to get you and Bob on the ship with all of us?:thumbsup2

I'm trying!

Wow, it seems like almost everyone is booking!

Bob is very interested, but won't let me put a deposit down yet because of my bills.....
just had my car towed today to get a new clutch! 2 weeks ago it was the exhaust pipes:headache:

But Bob's definitely interested.... especially when he heard that Mark was reminiscing on the green pearl drinks:thumbsup2

Do you Americans (or Cass) eat traditional christmas cake?....Hazel has a recipe thats been pasted down since they lived in caves if anyones interested just let me know...I don't eat the stuff but the smell when it's in the oven is to die for....

Not bad you guys, not bad:thumbsup2 - 1 and half pages to catch up on:cool1: ....I'm sure you can do better for me by the morning though cant you;)

Its our party tomorrow night so I'll be busy all day, but I'll still have time to read 20 pages or so:rolleyes1

Have fun shopping Karen!!!

I've got to start getting ready for work here after I drop Angelina off at school. The fog here is so thick this morning I can't see the house two doors down from me. Really spooky looking outside.........

Stay safe Andy - I hate that sort of weather. I just collected Ellis from school - I can walk it in 5 minutes but I took the car cos it was soooooooo cold outside. Lazy I know, but much warmer

Karen, you could NEVER be a "twit".

I hope power walking is part of that shopping trip too. Aren't you sorry that you asked us to make sure you exercise?

I got my vaccuum:woohoo: - yeah...right ....like I'm really excited:rotfl2: ....its all shiny silver and looks like a space ship:woohoo:

Neil even had the cheek to say "Merry christmas darling" to me as he paid the assistant. She looked horrified at first til I hit him on the head then she laughed and told him he deserved it.:goodvibes

PS - DID LOTS OF WALKING NANCY - PLEASE KEEP ON AT ME - ITS WORKING:thumbsup2

After I dropped Alex off at school, I went to

Walmart
Target
Michael's
Best Buy
and Potomac Mills Outlet Mall

AND I AM STILL NOT FINISHED!!!

Then I have to hurry back to Derek's school play. He knows all of his lines--I'm proud of him.:goodvibes (On sunday he will be Joseph in the Nativity Play--He knows his lines for that one too.) Now if he could learn to write a book report without asking me a million questions......

We're off to a swim meet tonight.

It doesn't stop, does it?

Hope the plays etc go well:goodvibes and good luck with the rest of your shopping:thumbsup2

Ellis has his first karate belt exam on Sunday so please keep your fingers crossed for him too

Not sure what you meant about the "i".....I think I have an idea--we have a word in cajun french that is, well, it describes a body part....

Yep, thats what I meant :lmao: - I DONT WANT TO WALK ROUND WITH THAT ON MY BACK:scared1:

On the front - I'm with B.O.B. inside a Mickey Head...

On the back - Bash On the Boat October 24, 2007 etc. something cool looking. I'm not an artsy person.

Well, suppose I'd better get to work...I'll stop by later!

:thumbsup2

Here's a Julia story.......

Julia turned 5 yesterday and we did the cake and present thing. So, this morning when I went to get her up to go to the babysitters, she woke up and said "I don't want to go to school today!!". She was convinced since she turned 5 she had to start school.
I thought that was just too cute since we haven't said anything about school.

That's great! My Daughter begs to go to school, but I'm sure that once she's that age she'll be saying much the same.

Ok, I am going to have to put in a major complaint here:snooty:
3 pages is just not enough for me to wake up to in a morning:sad2:

Lori - you are excused ..and so is Nancy...as is Tanya, Steve and Jeff...

The rest of you.....:confused3

Barely a peep out of you guys:sad2:

Pitiful;) .........anyone would think christmas was just round the corne and you were all busy:lmao:
I'm expecting treat things tomorrow:goodvibes

:lmao:

I agree with Nancy on this one!:goodvibes
I'm not putting "twit" on my shirt either. That would just confirm people's suspicions about me.:rotfl:

Not sure what you meant about the "i".....I think I have an idea--we have a word in cajun french that is, well, it describes a body part.....:scared1:
J.E.F.F. too funny :lmao: I see the title to the thread has changed again :lmao: Jeff you have too much time on your hands

Well, I won't be putting TWIT on my t-shirt, but the idea of being called J.E.F.F. throughout the cruise isn't exactly what I had in mind either.:rotfl2:
