Hope everyone has a great week! School starts back again for us, teachers back tomorrow, kids back Tuesday. Just when it ends, it starts all over , got to love year round!
Of course tomorrow means 38 more days until vacation!!!

Well, my "little lady" just came bouncing out of her room already. She said she took such a long nap yesterday, she had trouble sleeping last night. Maybe a good workout this morning will wear her out. It's a shame Riverwinds doesn't open until 6am, I am ready to go now!!!

Well, I emptied the first bathroom and Neils sugar soaping it as we speak. I then move into paint while he sugar soaps the 2nd etc. Bit of a relay race, but instead of passing the baton its passing the paint roller

We might get all three done by the time Ellis leaves school!

Back home from the morning work-out, now it's time to get ready for work. This should be interesting as I have about 150 curb meters to read today.

Took it a tad bit easier this morning since this is my first day working out, then going into work. There were a lot more people at Riverwinds this morning, I was quite surprised with it being so early in the day. I guess a lot of people want to get their workout done before going to work.

10 minutes bike
25 minutes treadmill (3.5mph)
5 minutes elliptical

approx 250 calories burned.

I'm just here to tell you ... a three scotch hangover mixed with too much family togetherness is not the way to spend the last day of a three-day weekend.

I suppose it's better than spending another day with "family".

Just hopping on quick to say...

We got a Wii and Wii Fit!!!! I'm SO excited!

We're just getting it all set up now....

Have fun with it Jen. We played our Wii Fit all afternoon yesterday. I did well on the ski jump (I even unlocked a new game on my first try), but didn't do so well on the soccer. I got plenty of exercise rolling on the ground laughing my bum off at Chuck and the Hula Hoop. That boy was working up a sweat with a Hula Hoop.

So I just booked all our shows for Las Vegas in October We're doing three Cirque du Soleil shows , KA, Mystere and "O"

Still debating on our anniversary dinner but I think we're going with Delmonico at the Venetian. It came HIGHLY recommended by our friends and family. I'm gonna have a heart attack when our check comes at the end of the meal though I am not the kind of person to pay that much for food but it IS our 10th wedding anniversary so I am taking a very deep breath and making an exception.

I am getting very excited, it's been almost 10 years since we've been there, since our wedding actually

Chuck and I want to do the Cirque show at DTD after the cruise next year. We never saw one.

How about a 10 year old wedding picture Cass? I'd love to see one.

When I opened our morning newspaper I saw that my former foreman "Jack" at the water department passed away this past Friday. When Hazel called his house this morning his wife "Gail" was so upset that we found out about Jack's death from reading the obit in the paper. Gail thought for sure that either her son or daughter called us on Friday. Jack and Gail were supposed to be at Lina's grad party last Saturday, but Jack had been rushed to the hospital with a gall bladder attack. During the surgery, Jack suffered a heart attack on the table. Jack was brought back, but suffered two more heart attacks during the week and finally passed away on Friday after being on life support the last four days. I will be taking a vacation day this Thursday as Hazel, Lina and I will not miss Jack's funeral, he is going to be missed greatly. Jack was a dear friend to all three of us.

Rest in Peace Jack.......

Morning everyone. We had a beautiful holiday weekend, too bad it went so fast.

Holy Crap! It's Monday already. The weekend went fast and to top it off, we got back from the b-day party yesterday at 4:00, I took DS for a short bike ride, then thought I'd take a short nap and then do some stuff around the house. Well that short nap lasted past 9:00, I was up to see DS to bed, and then went to bed myself in little over an hour. I was up for about 1 1/2 hours in the middle of the night, but still, that shot my day.

Busy next two weeks at work (starting the year-end stuff now), but I hope to find a few minutes to stop in and say "hi" here and there. But if I get bored or just feel like taking a break (a.k.a. my head hurts and I don't feel like thinking), I'll be posting.
