I have an extra DCL poster that I bought off of eBay last year. (Andy, it doesn't appear to be the one Tuna sat on either:confused3 ). It's suitable for framing but it does have a few slight creases in it.

Does anyone want it???

FREE to a good home................

I'd take it....that would be a great addition to my scrap room!

Remember my nail varnish that changes colour in the sun I bought on the last cruise from Key West? - I put it on my toes and fingers today:goodvibes

Its sunny here (on and off) so my feet and hands keep changing colour:goodvibes

How are things Jen? Still as busy at work? I hope it calms down soon for you...we miss you on here:goodvibes

well, i was offered a job teaching full time for a well known online university (I have been teaching for them part time for two years now)!!! I've applied for this job several times and never made it past the written interview stage until last month!

I have had two phone interview in the last three weeks, my references were contacted on Friday and yesterday morning. Then late afternoon yesterday I was called an offered the position!

I'm so excited! The biggest reason for looking for a telecommuting job is so that I could be involved in my kids lives more during the day. For the last three years I've worked all day, come home to the kids but only have been able to be involved in dinner and bedtime. I missed them so much!

So this is a step up in my career and I'll be at home! I'll have to travel to Arizona (expenses paid) every July for graduation, but it really sounds like a great job! I start July 1st.

My boss is leaving for a conference today so I had to call him at home last night and tell him. That was NOT easy at all! He's such a great guy and has been so flexible and understanding with me since I had Amelia three years ago. Great person overall it is going to be sad to leave him and King's. They're like second family to me. I love that college.

SO after speakign with him and telling him it is mainly me wanting to be with the kids more that fueled my looking elsewhere (King's doesn't have a flex time policy) rather than the job, the pay or the people he wants to try and work something out with HR. He thinks if I'm willing, that he is going to push to get them to develop a flex time policy so I can stay. He doesn't want me to go.

So now I'm confused!!!

Mel...first of all, congrats on being offered the new position...that's great!

I would be confused too, but keep in mind, things like a flex-time policy don't happen overnight if they don't have one established already. I would go ahead and let my boss talk to HR, but if after the initial meeting it doesn't sound promising, you may want to just take the new job.

    and pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for whatever you decide....

Consider it yours. I'll bring it to our next DISmeet, ok?:thumbsup2

Its from the famous t shirt shop that has transfers that change colour. Del Sol? (or something like that.) Mine goes from a pale oyster colour to a brightish pink

I dont think I'd be able to contain myself to just "one push" of that button. I'd be playing that horn tune til they prized my finger off of it:lmao: :hyper:

Thanks Karen. I'll check out their website.:thumbsup2

Okay, now that we have moved and have lots of posts available ;) I'm asking another quizzy question:

What is everyone's favorite Disney Cruise memory??

Hmmm...hard to say...

I'm torn between the look on DS's face meeting Mickey Mouse, and my fun afternoon at the adult pool with some other DISers....

I was researching stayin xmas night at a Univ hotel to get FOL passes. But... its $400:scared1:

Forget that idea then:rolleyes1

I can get 2 days of FOL passes for $230 instead. I know they're not quite the same, but Ellis wont do the big coasters anyhow, so I'd rather sav the money

Guess what everyone?

 I'M OFFICIALLY DONE WITH MY DISTAG GIFTS FOR NEXT YEAR!!!

(Now I'm working on the Trick or Treat stuff for our little BOBers)

Well, I have a few family members I'd like to put in front of a firing squad tonight, but other than that, all is well.............:lmao:

And no, two of the family members are "NOT" Hazel and Lina.

Like the old saying goes, you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family.

PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! We could use some extra :wizard: sent this way to get through the Graduation Ceremony tomorrow night without any family arguments taking place. I have already threatened if any trouble starts the police "WILL" be called. I need this like I need a whole in the head. Luckily, Lina knows "NOTHING" about what is going on behind the scenes. But, my stomach is in a ball of knots.

Sending     and pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: your way...

congrats to the graduate!
