Holy Cow! We just drove passed this house on Saturday afternoon before these pictures were taken!!:scared1: (Pics of house start on #3).

Jen, Janice, Cheryl, Glad everyone is ok. Jeff, are you guys ok too? I think we even have a couple other DISers from Wisconsin who haven't checked in since thread #1. Hope they are ok too!!

Isn't that Crazy that Lake Delton is no longer, right at the start of tourist season. That is the only thing some of those people have.

That's good news for my weight loss goal. I was just going by what my coworker said today. I guess I didn't hear her correctly.:confused3 I wish we were there the same time. A KK reunion in Aruba would have been awesome.::yes::

How about 18 weeks :thumbsup2

Robin, thanks for the mail I received today. The pictures arrived in great condition. And you are totally right when you say Sully is a HUNK! I've already put up the 8 x 10 in the bedroom. Scott was a little upset, but I told him Mike didn't have a problem with it so he said he didn't either then.:lmao:

Is it near the Dells where Nancy went this past weekend?
Yes, it is, huge tourist place to visit. Resorts, waterparks. The town in winter only has alittle over 1000 people that are residents,in the summer though, there are thousands...

So did it wipe out most of the area? That is just horrible. I can't imagine what it would be like to have to leave my home and know I would never be in it again. How sad for all of them.

Hey Lori!

Yes, Lake Delton is the Dells. The entire lake doesn't exist anymore! From what I hear, the banks of the lake broke open and the lake emptied into the Wisconsin River. Lake Delton turned into nothing but a pond now. UNBELIEVABLE!!! :scared1: I never realized that could even happen. :confused3

And, I hear ya on getting back on track. I have a few health issues on my plate right now that I need to deal better with. I can't seem to get my mind on losing weight right now either. Once all this "crap" is over with, I'm back at it with a vengeance! :thumbsup2

Hey Janice

All safe and sound in Tomah?

The Lake is no longer a lake, and the home on the banks, just broke in half and were gone. Alot of resorts on the lake, now have nothing. For most w/resorts, that is all that they had, that's how they lived, and it is all gone.

I didn't know a lake could just open up and empty either. How do you even grasp the idea of your home and whole livelyhood being wiped out. Those families will be in our prayers.

As for getting back on track........... to you. Take care of yourself and then get right back to it. I started back today with the granola bar, subway, and good dinner and lots of water. Hope you get all sorted out soon.::yes::

Hi Nancy, safe here in Tomah. Glad you guys are okay, I feel so sorry for the people of Dells, their whole life and way of living is gone. I don't know how they will get the Lake back.

It was pretty scarey on Saturday. I never saw green clouds in my life! There were 12 of us in that bathroom (and Cabo) and it was pretty quiet except for a few people crying softly. Poor Stacy was a basket case. She hates storms and was without her own family. I felt so bad for her. Poor girl. :worried:

Now it looks like Pewaukee Lake just went over too! The waters reached the end of the beach, flooded into the streets, and is inching up on the store fronts now. The sewers can't take anymore in. We're expecting more rain this week too.

It took me an extra 15 minutes to get to work today because so many of the roads were flooded out. I had to turn around 4 times before I finally made my way in. It's the first time I was EVER late for work. :headache:

Hi Beth

Good night Beth. :rotfl:

Good night Lori and Janice. :goodvibes

Thanks Lori, I'm working on it.

I'm not going to complain about the heat here anymore. At least we don't have this devastation to deal with.:(

Another HOT HOT HOT day post!

Sarah had her class picnic today.... in the classroom! It was horribly hot. I was running late and ended up having to park a short distance away from the school. I was pulling a cooler with a 24 pack of water in it. Needless to say, I worked up quite a sweat! (Can't even pretend it was lady-like "perspiring"!) I got to the room and passes a couple hallways with picnickers in them. Sarah was at her desk socializing with a tablemate's grandparents. She can be quite a charmer!

Class picnics are scheduled all week. Megan hopes it will be cooler Thursday so they can go outside for hers.

So.. everyone... Think "cool"!!!;)

OOOOOOO! That was post 2000!:cool1: :woohoo:

:woohoo: way to go Rose!:woohoo:

Yipee Karen!

That's drinking slimfast shakes? Twice a day?

Sort of... I have a slimfast for brekkie, some days I have a slima soup, some days a salad, some days another shake or slimfast bar. Either way its a low fat / low cal lunch. I have a mid morning snack of 100 calories (usually fruit or a slimfast snack bar) and sometimes another snack after dinner in the evening.

Really didn't feel like getting on the computer much after dinner, in fact I just crashed on the livingroom floor for a couple of hours, having leg cramps from walking around in this stinking heat and humidity all day long and tomorrow is supposed to be worse than today. I went through 5 bottles of water and 2 bottles of Gatorade today. I'm getting too stinking old for this job, to think I was a young lad of 24 when I started reading meters, now I'm an old fart of 53, my how the years have changed me..............:

Sorry to hear you had a bad day today Andy:hug: - hope tomorrow is better

I saw on our local news earlier a house in WI floating down a river, looked like the whole house went in one piece. I felt so sorry for that family, but at least everyone got out of the house before it floated away.

Holy cow! - those poor people:scared1:

Karen and Cass.......congrats on the weight loss. :yay: :yay: Keep up the great work. Seeing you alls weight loss has inspired me to start again. Thanks for the push!

It was seeing your photos that made me get started:thumbsup2

Congrats Rose. Now you just need to book KK2

I second that::yes::

Yeah, I got, I mean Alex got Honorable mention for her Science project out of the entire 6th grade. We were excited!

:rotfl: I guess we're all as bad as each other:rotfl:

Karen, your garden is beautiful. I wish mine was looking half that good.

Thank you - Its nice to know its finished for a while. We cant afford the patio to be replaced yet - big job and lots of ££££ so for now we're done:thumbsup2

Good. If I lose a little over 1 lb a week I will make it. Gotta get on the dreadmill! (TOMMOROW)

I'm hoping for 2lb loss each week for the next 6 weeks before Greece. I'll still be way off my goal, but at least I wont look too dreadful then:rolleyes1

Good grief - its like what we had last year in England:eek: - some people are still not back in their homes

Well, good morning from an overcast England.

No outdoor pool for me today:mad: - I knew I shoulkd have gone yesterday.

Gotta get to school early today - they have a mobile classroom coming to school called the life caravan. Teaches all the kids about their bodies and feelings etc. We get to go in it together before school starts then the kids get lessons in there during the day. I am expecting some awkward "how was I born" questions tonight:rotfl:
