ok, so who else is sick and tired of the Clinton/obama thing on tv?

Geez! - god knows how much coverage its getting over there, but we have it on every bit of news over here.

It doesnt matter who gets in over here - they're all useless and make a bigger mess of the country than it already is anyway

allow me to set my diet pepsi down and turn off the Daily show with Jon Stewart and reply....

it amazes me that no matter which side, they pretend to be everyday folks like the rest of us and really they are all rich buggars.

I just stopped by the house for my afternoon break, upon arriving home Lina told me that one of her fellow classmate's father hung himself yesterday. This, with less than two weeks until graduation, please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.

....well, it all started on a windy night on deck.....

oohhhh politics.
allow me to set my diet pepsi down and turn off the Daily show with Jon Stewart and reply....

it amazes me that no matter which side, they pretend to be everyday folks like the rest of us and really they are all rich buggars.

something I think we can all agree on....so I think if and when the "political talk" becomes a little heated, someone just needs to post the words--"rich buggars" and we can all have a laugh and take a breath......There is no way that we will all agree about politics, and that's fine. For me, no candidate has ever said everything I want to hear. Oh, and I think I will have to stick with Sweet Tea (as any good self-respecting Southerner would) as my drink......

The funny thing is, when Hazel and I were at the Orlando airport the other day, we were sitting just across from these same rest rooms, needless to say, we both had a chuckle about it once again........

Ok, here's my embarassing story, along the same line as Karens.

We had a few little mice running around at work one day. I was getting ready to leave and went to put my boots on. I slipped my foot into the boot and felt something wiggle inside. I screamed bloody murder and was totally freaking out because I knew one of the mice found it's way into my boot!

One of the men I worked with came running over and was yanking at my boot to get it off as I sat there screaming!!

My boots had cloth tabs on each side on the inside of them to assist in pulling them on. One of the tabs must've broken off and was laying inside of my boot. No mouse, just a tab.

After that I a few wisenheimers that would put pictures of mice in my office and I even received 6 "mouse beenie babies" for my birthday one year.

as far as names for our new grandson in sept.... should i be worried that robin keeps suggesting the name Sully?

Sean wouldn't put anything in his tea, Then one day I made him try sweet tea, and he has been hooked ever since. In fact the other day he came home all excited because the west coast McD's will be serving their $1 sweet tea's.

Sorry - I only mentioned how sick I was over how much coverage we were getting over it all. I wasnt trying to have a political debate on here .

Oh Karen you totally misunderstood me ... I wasn't upset that you said anything or brought it up. It's just that most people seem to have very settled and firm political opinions (everywhere, not just here) and it's almost always impossible to have a civilized discussion. People seem to end up trying to convince each other why they are right and the other person is wrong and it deteriorates into insults (about each other as well as candidates).

I was just posting my thoughts on one aspect of a statement about running mates and then I said what I said to make it clear that I didn't want to get into a political debate (here) about it. That's all.

I hope you don't think I was trying to censor you. I would be the last person who would ever try to do something like that.
