10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with BOB) - Thread #7

We are seeing the Indiana Jones movie on Sat. The radiologists at work are no longer going to have a Christmas party for us, instead they are going to plan a few things for us throughout the year, the first of which is the movie for employees and their families on Sat. I am really looking forward to seeing it!

DH wants to take DS to see it too. He wants him to see the Temple of Doom first--that was DH fav.

Wow! I just thought I'd see if there was a thread for our cruise yet. I didn't expect it to be longer than the thread for the cruise I just got off! I'll never catch up.

We are fresh off the Wonder as of yesterday. We rebooked onboard for 10/24/2009. My DD 8 & DD 10 will celebrate their 10th and 12th birthdays respectively on the cruise. Same birthday, two years apart. We time things really well.

Our cast of characters includes the following:

we had planned on seeing indiana jones today but were having too much fun this weekend and she got a little behind on the schoolwork.

I wanna see it too. Our dd is going to see it today. I kinda spoiled our plans to see it today.

But homework is done now. whew!

DS wants to see it really bad. Suz' friend from Vegas (she's like a mom to Suz) is coming in on Friday for 2 weeks to watch DS before summer camp (school ends this Friday) and she really wants to take him.

I'm kinda bummed because I wouldn't mind seeing it too.

We are going to Kung Fu Panda thoughl. Suz got preview tickets from work. They have some promo going on with it.

And since Suz' friend is in, we're doing date night. Dinner at Eddie Martini's (high end restaurant here) and then "Sx in the City".

My baby just came to me and showed me she had just pulled her last baby tooth. I have tears in my eyes. How silly!!!!! I can't believe I am going to cry about a tooth. I'll never make it through graduation and forget about marraige!!!!!

Jeff, did you and Suz finish the garden? We also worked outside today. Planted some new plants and cleaned out another bed.

Not putting in any beds, just finally starting to put the edging in. The grass has overgrown the edge of the beds (some places by almost a foot ).

We hope to get all the beds done in the next few weeks. It takes a lot to get the grass back to where it is suppose to be.

How was the Wonder? We did a 3-night for our second cruise. Was that your first?

The name of our group this time is the BOB's (Bash On the Boat). Everyone seems to be celebrating something on this cruise. Your kids will have plenty of other people to celebrate with.

I was wrong, I'm over 4,000 on the BOB as well.

I know I had about 800 on the Darkside in the spring of 2007, before I left that thread.

OK panic attack!!!

there is 500ish days till the cruise.. what do I need to do now to make sure I am booked for all the things I want to do?? like stay at the same hotel...go to the holloween party at disney???.. I read on the bob board that tickets for the holloween party went on sale May 1st??? ack..am I too late.. I thought I was doing so well at being ahead of the game

I didn't think everything would happen so fast!

and anyone have any hints on how to win the lotto??.. I didn't think I would have to pay for so many things already

Wow, I can only imagine what you must be feeling right now My girl just popped her 16th tooth, last one except her 2 nd molars, which won't be for awhile!
