all is well here in ohio.
as of noon today, i just finished serving my one week Dis probation from the dis police for using the word "personalities" one too many times.

Sat in our static caravan in Devon, the place is really rural, the farm is about 5 miles up a single track road, and we are overlooking dartmoor. The weather is typically british, windy and grey, had some sunshine today but not very warm.

Sounds similar to our weather

I just went over and read the thread.

This is my fear of people joining the BOB. I sure hope no one comes on here and thinks we're not welcoming or won't answer their questions. I think we do a pretty good job of getting people involved.

Look at the first post, there are almost as many new people as returning people on this thread.

If anyone is out there lurking and not posting, please post away. You are not interrupting any discussions we're having. The more topics the better. Heck, you may be able to get us off a topic we've discussed to death by starting a new one.

I think we're all very welcoming. I love the way lots of non KK'ers feel right at home here. I feel like I know them already and we've got ages to go til we cruise.

Ok, thats me all caught up - I skimmed so forgive me if I missed anything.



It was a fun weekend. We even visitied a castle - me! v history stuff I really enjoyed it.

We did a boat lift today - not sure if you have these in America? I'll post piccies - will make more sense.

The entertainment wasnt too bad this time. Ellis hd a ball so thats the main thing. He loves these cheesy weekends mroe than a fortnight in Greece

Hello everyone,
I'm sitting here in bed wishing that it was just because I was being lazy. I woke up this morning and sat up to some excrutiating pain in my mid back. Said a not so nice word and woke Sean up. Had to go to the restroom and stood up and thought I was going to pass out. Sean has been through the same thing so he went into action, 800 mg motrin, ice and heat. He is however having fun by cracking jokes and making me laugh and it hurts to laugh. So here I am hoping that the inflamation will go down by tomorrow so I don't have to take a day off of work, doesn't look good after a holiday weekend.

We took Devin to DL for 4 days when he was 5 and left Sarah,who was a little over a year old, with my mom and dad. Mom said she was quiet the whole time, but still had fun going to McD's with grandma. We went to get her, we stayed and visited with my folks and she went and got her diaper bag and wouldn't put it down. She walked all over the house with that,she was ready to go home.

Thanks Andy. I told Sean about Lina's mishap. It brought back some memories, you see I was at a band trip in Hawaii and was in the pool and jumped up and one of the "girls" jumped out. Embarrassing especially when the guy I had a crush on saw the whole thing. But it all worked out, I wound up marrying him after that.

Also dealing with a ST that was told to use the debit card I gave her for "emergencies only" during her trip. I guess $104 worth of t-shirts, tote bags and other misc. items are considered emergencies now-a-days.........

No, Nope, notta thing.........I found out about the debit card purchases two days into her trip. I called and reminded her the card was only incase of an emergency and not to be used to buy stuff with. By then she had already spent $104 using the card, which included the tote bag for Hazel, a $35.00 t-shirt she bought at Wicked and a few other items. She said since I told her she couldn't use the card anymore, she couldn't get anything for me. Needless to say, the cash I gave her for food, and the like, was spent as well. Most meals were covered, but she did have to buy her lunches and snacks during the trip. Kids..........
