A little "proud parent" moment before I go. Emily's high school had their sports awards program yesterday. I am so proud of Emily. She is only a Freshman, so we were happy knowing that she would "letter", but she also made the All-Conference team (2nd team). Their conference is small as is their school, so it is not like she is a pitching phenom, but I was proud nonetheless. It will do wonders for her confidence as a pitcher....She also won the "glue" award. It is an award voted on by the entire team. The coach said it is the girl that epitomizes the sport, the one who keeps the team together, the one who they miss when she is not there. Emily was so flattered to receive this award, and I , of course, was very proud of her.
:thumbsup2 Congrats! You SHOULD be very proud.

Of course this morning, it was back to normal and Rob and I were fussing at her about her skirt being too short....:rotfl:

Did I mention that her boyfriend's dad got orders to Hawaii and they are moving next month? He's a nice boy but I'd rather her not have a steady boyfriend at this age......

....now that I've bored you all, can someone pass the deodorant?

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Just how low will a father with power stoup to protect his "Baby"....:snooty: could have been worse Rob could have sent the poor chap to Iraq instead of Hawaii.....:rolleyes1

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Well done to Emily:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

When you go to Chicago do you eat at Eli's ? - I loved that place - I could live in Eli's:lmao:

Maybe you should plan a trip to Chicago again to go to Eli's.

I know of a place about 75 minutes north you could stay at for free. :rolleyes1

Its fun - I was on it for about 30 minutes last night. The more you play the more new things become available to you - new yoga moves etc

I'm sure she'll love her bracelet off ds:cutie:

Ellis wanted to buy me flowers the other day when he was at the supermarket with his Dad. He chose the biggest bunch of beautiful lilies for me:goodvibes - Neil hads to pay for them of course:rolleyes1

Do you find that it is working or that it helps? Does it do anything Cardio?

I just can't grasp the benefit of it from what I've seen. A first hand report would be good.

I don't want to spend $90 for something that doesn't work and will just sit there.

Had a fun morning. We went on our bikes round the bike..... Neil chose an alternative route:rolleyes: - uphill, downhill, uphill, downhill.....etc.... my thighs do NOT like him anymore. I was panting at the back asking where the flat bits were:rotfl:

Then we went into town shopping and had a nice baguette at an outdoor cafe.

He's off to bed now ready for tonight. He hasnt had a job yet in 2 nights - fingers crossed he wont get one tonight either!

So far - 24 hours pay - zero hours worked:woohoo:

Kind of sounds like accounting. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

BTW, your thighs may not like the hills, but do them over and over and your thighs will like those hills when they look in the mirror. :thumbsup2

Keep up the good work.

My brother's base is in Hawaii but is now serving in Iraq. Can't wait for him to come home.

She is such a lovely girl Paige, you have every right to be proud of her.
All the girls who go to high school here hitch up their skirts. Olivia starts high school this september so lets see how long it takes before her skirt starts shrinking.
