Yes, but I'm sure he looked only at group rates. At 144, they'd fill a MD-80 or A320.

Are they all going on one plane?

No, two different flights about one hour apart. Lina is on the second flight leaving and arriving.

Gotta get out of here..........:wave2:

Andy,
Our trips in band are probably the things I most remember about high school. We went to Hawaii my Jr year, and marched down Main St at DL my senior year. I've never been to Chicago, but Sean has and he said it's a great city. Please tell Lina that I hope she has a Wonderfully Magical pixiedust:(and safe) time!(corny I know) You and Hazel too in FL.

Your school chose HI over Chicago for a band trip? What were they thinking. :confused3 :rotfl2:

Does that mean she gets an hour extra of sleep or an extra hour sitting around the airport because they all have to get there at the same time?

Have a good day Andy. I'm sure your mind will be completely into doing those meeters today. :rolleyes1

Andy you and Hazel have a great time in FL!!!!!!!!! We ate at Dixie Crossroads last June after spending the day at the Sapce Center, it was delicious!

Isn't that one of the places we talked about meeting the night before the KK cruise?

That menu looked really good. Maybe if we're down early for the BOB we could run up there. However, pizza by the pool at the Rad wouldn't be bad either.

Nope, she will be skipping those teen years :rolleyes1

:lmao: :rotfl2: My sister has a 16 year old and she's having a lot of problems with him, he's turned into a cheeky bugger! :sad2:

I am SO not looking forward to the teens :scared:

Don't have to worry about those teen years Cass, the 3's are bad enough with the attitude. Don't believe the terrible-2's, those were easy. 3 was bad. :sad2:

Suz told me to tell you to make sure its something nice and expensive;) :lmao:

She says she wants the Wii Fit.

DS got her a nice bracelet. It was actually cute watching him pick it out. I had to go to Kohls to get my brother a shirt and tie for a wedding this weekend (he never dresses up) so I took DS to get Suz' present. He has done earrings, necklaces, etc. for other gifts to her, so he said we needed to go to the jewelry department. So he looks through all the cases looking for stuff. Then he went to the racks to look. I told him anything he buys mommy she'd have to wear, so he should get her something nice. (you're welcome Suz)

So we went back to the case and got her a nice Amethyst (sp?) bracelet. She loves purple even though her stone is Emerald. Amethyst is also DS's birthstone, so it works.

While shopping though, DS asked what her stone was, so I told him. He then asked what the color was. I told him green. You should have seen some of the green jewelry he was picking out off the "rack" and saying, here's an Emerald. :scared1: :lmao:

It was really cute.

Good morning peeps!:goodvibes

We have early morning sunshine today. Neil and I are going cycling in the park once Ellis is in school. We made it to the gym yesterday for about 40 minutes too. I sooooooooo have to shift some pounds before Greece.

All the clothes in my wardrobe have been in that "magic shrinking machine" and now not many fit me:eek: :rolleyes1

Where are you "shifting" them to? Wouldn't you rather "shed" them? :confused3

No sun here today........:sad2:

Cloudy, very chilly, and yet more rain moving in before the end of the morning rush hour.........

30 minutes and counting..........:thumbsup2

What time are you out of work today Andy?

Sneaking out early?

All caugt up (well at least read since last night).

I'm sure I missed responding to something from yesterday. Sorry.

Time to get DS his breakfast.

Talk later.

I checked and Lake County, FL over the next few days will be in the mid 80's to low 90's, much better than here, that's for sure!!! :thumbsup2

:cool1: :cool1: Have fun Andy and Hazel:cool1: :cool1:

Karen, Greece how nice when are you going there???

Kim

One of the islands - Zante - been several times before to various quiet resorts. We like authentic greek rather than them catering burger and chips in the busy "english" resorts.

"Heather"

Ditto from me Heather:hug:

That won't work for a run down to Chicago. Suz wants to get down to Ikea  , also want to take DS to the Lego store, and then eat at the Weber restaurant. I told her if we do that, we should just stay over night and take the train into the city and go to Navy Pier and maybe one of the museums.

When you go to Chicago do you eat at Eli's ? - I loved that place - I could live in Eli's:lmao:

She says she wants the Wii Fit.

DS got her a nice bracelet.

Its fun - I was on it for about 30 minutes last night. The more you play the more new things become available to you - new yoga moves etc

I'm sure she'll love her bracelet off ds:cutie:

Ellis wanted to buy me flowers the other day when he was at the supermarket with his Dad. He chose the biggest bunch of beautiful lilies for me:goodvibes - Neil hads to pay for them of course:rolleyes1

Where are you "shifting" them to? Wouldn't you rather "shed" them? :confused3

Shift / shed - :confused3 - same thing to me. :rotfl:

Had a fun morning. We went on our bikes round the bike..... Neil chose an alternative route:rolleyes: - uphill, downhill, uphill, downhill.....etc.... my thighs do NOT like him anymore. I was panting at the back asking where the flat bits were:rotfl:

Then we went into town shopping and had a nice baguette at an outdoor cafe.

He's off to bed now ready for tonight. He hasnt had a job yet in 2 nights - fingers crossed he wont get one tonight either!

So far - 24 hours pay - zero hours worked:woohoo:

Done most of the packing for the weekend - the pile of "stuff" is HUGE! - Looks like we're going for a fortnight:rotfl:

Good job the car is big:rolleyes1

A little "proud parent" moment before I go. Emily's high school had their sports awards program yesterday. I am so proud of Emily. She is only a Freshman, so we were happy knowing that she would "letter", but she also made the All-Conference team (2nd team). Their conference is small as is their school, so it is not like she is a pitching phenom, but I was proud nonetheless. It will do wonders for her confidence as a pitcher....She also won the "glue" award. It is an award voted on by the entire team. The coach said it is the girl that epitomizes the sport, the one who keeps the team together, the one who they miss when she is not there. Emily was so flattered to receive this award, and I , of course, was very proud of her.

Of course this morning, it was back to normal and Rob and I were fussing at her about her skirt being too short....:rotfl:

Did I mention that her boyfriend's dad got orders to Hawaii and they are moving next month? He's a nice boy but I'd rather her not have a steady boyfriend at this age......

....now that I've bored you all, can someone pass the deodorant?
