:love2: :love2:

It's because during the other 48 weeks or so during the year we eat things like boiled noodles, spinach salad, fruit, and vacuum sealed fish. By the time we get to vacation we're starving! :lmao:

Is this due to the aforementioned overspending, or by choice???:lmao: :rotfl:

Well, that was quick, lunchtime is coming to a close so I better sign off for now, see y'all later..........:wave2:

BTW, after letting last night soak in and researching alternatives, we didn't do too bad.

Suz was researching the PV excursion we wanted and people talk about a jelly fish problem at that beach.

Also, there are a couple of excursions on there for PV that were not there a week ago that look pretty good, actually better than the one we wanted. To top it off, they are available. So, we will probably do that instead.

As for a beach in Cabo, we'll just hit the main beach after our tour. We get done at 1:00 and the last tender is at 4:30. So we can still get 2-3 good hours of the beach before hitting the ship. Plus we won't have to rush too much for the tenders in the morning (maybe sleep in).

Things are looking actaully pretty good now for us.

The only thing we didn't get, which it sounds like a lot of people didn't get, was Palo Brunch. I will check the line for when we board and if not bad, try then. If not, guess no brunch.

I'm in a much better mood now than at 1:30 this morning.

Jen the worse thing you could have done is gone back, the little monkey would do it EVERYDAY he facied staying home with his mum why not ring them and give yourselve peace of mind, bet you $10 he's now as happy as a pig in mud .....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Yup...that's about right. I'm waiting for a call from the daycare now (they're all at lunch so no one's in the office - had to leave a message).

Some days I wish I could have stayed home with him, but we just couldn't afford that. Of course, other days, I'm glad he's there! :lmao: But, like Andy so wisely said a few posts ago....you do it to support your family.

Hi Jen! Thanks for taking the time to read it. It was really a fun way to end the evening, although we were stuffed by the time we were finished.

As for the 12 course meal ... it was a tasting menu so the portions were smaller than they would have been for a standard meal. But it was still a lot. :lmao:

Here's a hug for you ... don't beat yourself up - you're a good mommy!

Thanks Benda! :) I appreciate the support.

I've never done a tasting menu or a lot of the gourmet dining you guys have done (we live in the land of Olive Garden and Applebee's here - mostly chain restaurants by us) so it's fun to live vicariously!

Actually, Jay and I are pretty good at maintaining a healthy diet / exercise plan during the non-vacation times of the year. Jay is better at it than I am ... some of my health issues make it harder for me to stick with the program as regularly as he does, but I'm getting better at it.

That's why we don't mind letting ourselves go on vacation - the way we eat and drink then is the total opposite of what we do at home (with some exceptions, of course).

I'm glad you're feeling better about your bookings - sounds like a lot of people were having issues.

You could always keep checking back for Palo brunch if people start changing around their ressies...

I wonder if there's anyone on the repo cruise that's NOT a returning cruiser - I'd feel really sorry for them trying to book stuff....

Cass what has happened to our KK1 mascot?, as it would appear quite some time since we saw prove of her existence.....:rolleyes1

Currently she is running around mostly naked :lmao: But yes, it's been while since I've posted a pic or two. I try to give people a long break in between pics, I'm already known as the chick that post a million pics of her kid!

Good for you! Eating healthy is by no means easy - I applaud you.

I could do it too if desserts weren't so yummy....

Ok, no pictures today! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I can appreicate that - I haven't posted a million pics of DS, but I bet I've TAKEN a million pics of him! I used to think he was the most photographed kid in the world...'til I met some cool, like-minded folks....;)

Ok, I suppose I can get back to work now that I've put up a few posts on the #7 thread....I couldn't believe it when I logged on last night to 14 pages, and I hadn't posted yet!

Maybe it's her way of telling you she wants you to take her down one of "them beach's" Cass.....:rolleyes1

Jen, it would probably scare you to know how many pics I've taken of Kira  Considering I'm a scrapbooker, avid photographer AND the fact that she will be my only kid...I wanted to capture as many moments in her life as I could ::yes::

Talking to experienced parents, time passes so quickly and I will turn around one day and she will be off to the prom..right Andy ;)

I also have a lot of video of her too.

I bought one of those baby time capsule things but there's NO WAY the stuff I kept for it would fit in it, so I bought a big bin from Walmart and put in all her time capsule stuff, including the big time capsule container :lmao:

I am still working on her First year scrapbook....have done about 20 pages and I am not even half way yet :goodvibes And going through the pics, it's hard not to use some of them but I took so many that I can only use my faves in her book

I will burn a blu-ray disc with all her pics and video and put it in her time capsule! Hopefully she's the type of woman that will appreciate things like that :upsidedow

Or maybe it's just me not wanting to fight with her to get the clothes back on :rolleyes1

Rob is having issues with his card reader so we haven't downloaded pics in awhile but when he gets that sorted, I will post a pic or two of her highness ;)

Cass, you sound just like me! We didn't do video, but we got a digital camera the Christmas before DS was born, and I thought that was the best invention ever! I took TONS of photos....and I hadn't started scrapbooking until he was over a year old. I tried to keep up for a while, but I'm about 2 years behind on his scrapbook now (and on his 3rd or 4th album), plus I have the cruise I will scrap in a separate book. I also LOVED getting his portrait done (still do).

I've slowed down on pics a bit now, but I still get out the camera for all the new stuff (soccer was the latest new thing) and I'm going to take the morning off his first day of school so I can go and take photos! It does go by fast - I still can't believe he'll be in school this fall!

In the meantime...here's one that I took on my cell phone last week at my sisters...
