Cass, you sound just like me! We didn't do video, but we got a digital camera the Christmas before DS was born, and I thought that was the best invention ever! I took TONS of photos....and I hadn't started scrapbooking until he was over a year old. I tried to keep up for a while, but I'm about 2 years behind on his scrapbook now (and on his 3rd or 4th album), plus I have the cruise I will scrap in a separate book. I also LOVED getting his portrait done (still do).

I've slowed down on pics a bit now, but I still get out the camera for all the new stuff (soccer was the latest new thing) and I'm going to take the morning off his first day of school so I can go and take photos! It does go by fast - I still can't believe he'll be in school this fall!

Yup, I know what you mean about being behind. I haven't scrapped in so long! I gave up my chronological sb because it was when I got into digital and now I can't bear to go back to the paper stuff :rolleyes1

I want to get her first year book done soon. Now that all the tv shows are ending for the season, it will be easier for me to get it done. I'm so bad, I watch a lot of tv :sad2: :scared:

I too have slowed down, but my "slow" is probably still a lot more than the average mommy

Now that I have my new computer and Photoshop is working better, I am excited to get on with her album :thumbsup2

I did start the cruise SB but then I got side tracked and haven't touched it since.

1st goal Kira's 1 year album
2nd goal DCL album
3rd goal WDW 2007 album

Let's see how long THAT takes me ;) :lmao: :rotfl2:

.
Last year he won $1,000 in a daily prize giveaway; today he just found out that he won a portable DVD player. :thumbsup2

:woohoo:

ps..Karen sorted the Car hire, thanks,i went with the one you recommend

:thumbsup2 Glad I could help:thumbsup2

Hey gang...how's everyone today?

I'm kinda bummed - feeling like a bad mommy today. DS had a big fit right before we left today, and despite efforts to calm him down, I had to leave him crying at daycare. :sad2:

It was one of those days I wish I could just call in and say, "I'm staying home with my boy today". Instead, I'm sitting here with "working mommy" guilt.

Dont beat yourself up Jen - he'll be fine within a few minutes of you leaving:hug:

Feeling a bit pooped, I did 65 of the 75 curb meters this morning, just couldn't finish those last 10, they will be done after lunch. After all the rain we had since Friday, many of the curb meters were filled with water, so I had to bail each one of them out with the bucket that I carry with me. It makes it very tough to be on my knees for such a long time, but it's my job, and I've got to do it to support my family.

Big hugs Andy - take it easy

BTW, after letting last night soak in and researching alternatives, we didn't do too bad.

Things are looking actaully pretty good now for us.

I'm in a much better mood now than at 1:30 this morning.

Glad to hear it:goodvibes

Of course, other days, I'm glad he's there! :lmao:

Oh yeah! - I'm having one of those days too:rotfl:

Currently she is running around mostly naked :lmao: But yes, it's been while since I've posted a pic or two. I try to give people a long break in between pics, I'm already known as the chick that post a million pics of her kid!
We dont long breaks between piccies - we used to like them weekly::yes::

Chris honey, did we scare you off with all this talk of baby pictures :confused3 :rolleyes1

I've never done any digital scrapbooking - I think that would make me lose my mind! I'm not that computer literate, plus I have all the tools and stuff for paper scrapbooking. Kudos to those who can do it though....I think you're so talented!

Sounds like you've got some good goals there...right now I'm taking a break from DS's scrapbook to do the cruise book. I got 4 pages done before we had to do 15 other projects around the house. Now that those are done, maybe I can get back to my cruise book.

Well, I just put Kira down for a nap and I stole the CF card from Rob so I will find some pics to post :thumbsup2

By the way...I've just figured out that we were doomed from the beginning to having a difficult day. Not only is it Monday, but there's a full moon tonight!

:love2: :love2:

It's because during the other 48 weeks or so during the year we eat things like boiled noodles, spinach salad, fruit, and vacuum sealed fish. By the time we get to vacation we're starving! :lmao:

OK, then what's wrong with this picture? Here I sit eating Hummus, carrot sticks, an apple and water and I don't eat that much on vacation either. And about that small town....(I can relate).

Cass what has happened to our KK1 mascot?, as it would appear quite some time since we saw prove of her existence.....:rolleyes1

Yes, yes! Pics plz!!:thumbsup2

But we don't want long breaks Cass. C'mon, give the people what they want. :goodvibes

Hopefully she's the type of woman that will appreciate things like that :upsidedow

How can she NOT be? I'm sure she'll be blessed enough to take after her mommy & daddy that way.:cloud9:

In the meantime...here's one that I took on my cell phone last week at my sisters...

Ok, enough whining of my own...back to work.

Jen, I've had many of those moments. I remember dropping Kristin off her first day at day care and she sat there and had those little arms crossed against her chest just sitting there starring at a puzzle. She's such a little toughie, that she refused to cry. She just wouldn't look at me. I cried on my way out, drove around the block, parked and peeked in the window and there she was, happy as a clam playing with the other kids already. Tony?....He's a different story. That kid would cry for an hour after I dropped him off EVERY day for 2 years!!! :confused3 :confused3

I'm sure your little guy is just fine.

OH Cass, she gets more and more precious with each photo!!!

BTW -- Who is going to promise me that they'll be with us on the next PC cruise????!!!!

Ok, you may regret asking....:lmao:

Her new sandbox...I think this was 2 weeks ago...when it was still a little chilly outside!

The last time she was in sand it was on Castaway Cay!

I am so there. 15 days on the ship-----------Especially after the day this is turning out to be. Too much work and not enough time.

It is beautiful out though. Went to the beach at lunch time.

Have a good afternoon.

Jen don't worry he probably won;t even rememeber by the time you pick him up.

Cass- it goes really fast. You take them to college and them you turn around and they graduate.

On Mother`s Day we went to Glenmore Park to visit my mom`s bench. When she passed away 10 years ago, she had wanted her ashes to be buried under some trees in a park but the city wouldn`t let us do that so instead we bought and dedicated a bench for her in a beautiful park. Here`s my girl sitting on Nanny`s bench :lovestruc

Here she is playing right in front of the bench...

And here she is having a meltdown next to the bench :lmao:

Yeah, not looking forward to the time flying :sad2: wow, you went to a beach at lunchtime...dang I wish I could say that!! :goodvibes :lmao:
Good for you! :thumbsup2

Ok, thanks for enduring the Kira show :rolleyes1 Off to get ready...dropping Kira off after her nap to my brothers and we`re going to see What Happens In Vegas :cool1:

By the way, we watched 27 Dresses and Untraceable last night :thumbsup2 Great chick flick and mystery-horror :woohoo:

Oh Cass!! Theres our girl!!!! She gets cuter every time we see her!!!! And I LOVE the look!!:lovestruc Priceless!!

Thanks for explanation Jen!! It really is going to be a bad Monday. Woody just called me and on his way into work this morning he was cut off by a dumptruck which didn't have it's contents secured. When it jumped over in the other lane it kicked rocks out of the back. Not just little rocks but big, baseball sized rocks!! And of course one hit the windshield of Jeep. Smack dab in the middle. :sad2: Woody wasn't the only one whose car was hit either. The guy jumped off at the next exit before Woody could get the plate number but he called the police anyways. He was supposed to call our insurance guy at lunch.

Joanne-really now. Did you have to rub in the fact that you went to the beach at lunch!!! ;) Darn you Florida people!! Well I went to our neighboring park for lunch and walk/jog 3 miles in about 35 min. It is sunny and 70 here right now.:goodvibes
