Chris, Astronaut Blvd is A1A that runs through Cape Canaveral, the Radisson is on Astronaut Blvd. What car rental place are you looking for?

Hey gang...how's everyone today?

I'm kinda bummed - feeling like a bad mommy today. DS had a big fit right before we left today, and despite efforts to calm him down, I had to leave him crying at daycare.

It was one of those days I wish I could just call in and say, "I'm staying home with my boy today". Instead, I'm sitting here with "working mommy" guilt.

Ok, enough whining of my own...back to work.

Feeling a bit pooped, I did 65 of the 75 curb meters this morning, just couldn't finish those last 10, they will be done after lunch. After all the rain we had since Friday, many of the curb meters were filled with water, so I had to bail each one of them out with the bucket that I carry with me. It makes it very tough to be on my knees for such a long time, but it's my job, and I've got to do it to support my family.

Hi Jen! Thanks for taking the time to read it. It was really a fun way to end the evening, although we were stuffed by the time we were finished.

As for the 12 course meal ... it was a tasting menu so the portions were smaller than they would have been for a standard meal. But it was still a lot.

Here's a hug for you ... don't beat yourself up - you're a good mommy!

Andy am not sure,the lady on the phone was unable to tell me just how far the one they had down there was from the port,as we've never had a car rental after the cruise am unsure as to how the whole process works,do you go to them,do they bring it to you,can i walk there?....Thanks

Jen the worse thing you could have done is gone back, the little monkey would do it EVERYDAY he facied staying home with his mum why not ring them and give yourselve peace of mind,bet you $10 he's now as happy as a pig in mud .....

It's because during the other 48 weeks or so during the year we eat things like boiled noodles, spinach salad, fruit, and vacuum sealed fish. By the time we get to vacation we're starving!

There aren't any car rental offices within walking distance to the port. Several of them do have free shuttle service though. I know Budget and Avis has free shuttle service from the port and no call is needed as the shuttle vans run back and forth all morning to their offices. I have used both Budget and Avis in the past. I usually go with Budget because it is within walking distance to the Radisson.
