Ahhhhhhhhhh, just a little 5 day trip to Florida, that's all...........

Hazel and I will be flying down on Wednesday, oh, I think I did mention that yesterday.........

This time tomorrow morning I will be sitting next to my laptop waiting for 7:05 to arrive so I can check us in for our Southwest flight, gotta get the Group A boarding pass.......

Jeff: Weather does the same thing here on the first unofficial long weekend of the year. We use to always camp this weekend but I no longer camp unless the name of the place starts with Holiday Inn

Brenda/Jason: Glad you had nice weather this weekend!!!!

Jen: Sounds like you had a great weekend!

Gent: We don't get alot of soccer "football" over here but I do cheer for Man U. Only cause my mom was born in Manchester. I have a sister and her family that live in Weston Super Mare, Sommerset?? Something like that...with email I never write her anymore but I remember her address was like that

I hope all you repo cruisers got the excursions etc you where looking for!!!!!

Hi Kim, it is a bit chilly here this morning as well, we were in the upper 40's when I got up this morning. Back to long pants and a jacket for work today.

I have been reading water meters for the township I live in for the past 29 years, in fact, my 29th Anniversary working for the township is this coming Wednesday, and where do I spend that anniversary day, not at work, but in Florida!!!

Actually, it is kind of nice seeing the diverse amount of posting on here. A lot of threads are only 3-5 people posting on the thread.

We had 11 over 100 posts and Joanne was only 2 short of 100.

Quick question,ive tried booking a car but everytime i get to the end i get kicked out because it asks for a expiry date on my CC in a **/**/**** format were as our cards over here only give a **/** Month and Year format....any idea's from our more brighter friends here?....

Have you tried w.usrentacar.co.uk? - its a uk company - real cheap compared to others and you choose your company and car - eg dollar / jeep

We've booked through them for xmas and they've had great reviews on the Dibb. You collect the car as normal via whichever desk eg dollar.

Thought I'd got my flights for next Oct sorted earlier. Got a flydrive price off Virgin, fairly reasonable and I get a 10% discount for being a Frequent Virgin, then, if I go to the Virgin site via a company called Quidco, they'll give me another 4% cashback

14% off makes a heck of a difference. Thank god Ellis is still classed as a child

Just waiting on one more quote then I might go ahead and book it. All the other companies havent released yet, so I cant compare prices, but its a real popular week to travel so the flights get booked up quickly. I dont want to risk not being able to get those dates that we need. Virgin Atlantic dont release til November for next Oct - I cant wait that long, so I will probably just go with Virgin Holidays and if I start filling in their silly health and medical forms now I might just get them finished by next October


All I need to research then would be a villa for a week

Sean's last day was Friday, and he graduates on June 1st

12 weeks from yesterday, I'll be moving him down to Florida

None of our airlines here in Canada have released flight info for next Oct yet. I even have a cruise booked for next April that I can't get flights for yet

We got a really good price for our flight this Oct but still watching for January. I don't like any of those prices yet. Jetblue and Airtran have relesed the dates but I don't like the flight times so I will wait until SW releases there dates. I always fly out of Buffalo....way cheaper then out of Toronto.

Had a nice week end at the beach. Weather was windy and chully yesterday so no sitting ont he beach. But it was still nice. Ate way too much, but back to the old diet today!!!!

We are headed to Litltle rock this week end for a wedding.

Kim, it's the opposite here in Alberta, we've been hit with a heatwave now for 4 days It was 27 degrees the other night at MIDNIGHT! That's 80 ºF!!! We went from winter to summer this year


Sorry you all had trouble with your ressies last night Even the DIS was down for a bit.

We were all linked last year, I don't recall having any major problems Should we not link our ressies together untill after the online ressies open up???

How many DISers are going on the EB repo?? There were probably a TON of people online last night
