I would suggest that no one call DCL tomorrow, I don't think it is going to be pretty. A lot of DIS'ers were and within an hour wanted to do myself included. Mickey's arms should be real tired tomorrow with all the swimming he did. Poor Jeff and I had Brunch all set, then we couldn't get in, for some stupid reason if you are linked with another reservation only 1 person can get on to reserve things at a time, which is totally insane! I really think there was something up with Brunch ressies, because a lot of the DS'ers didn't get them either. Never had to stand in line for Palo's but I guess there is a first time for everything. Although I read on the DS that it wasn't as bad as WB reservations. So what do you say Jeff and Heather, let's do this again next July? or is it Aug? I hear there's a crazy group going on the Oct 24,2009 sailing, we can take 'em Good night everyone! And thanks again Jeff for all your hard work helping me plan what I needed.

What a DISASTER this online booking is tonight.

There were NO Palo Brunch slots available. NONE.

Lots of Dinners though.

We finally got all excursions except the one in PV. Suz really want to go on the Las Caletas beach one. She doesn't want to book anything else there.

We couldn't do 2 excursions in Cabo because of time conflicts, so we're only doing the Land's End tour.

Got everything else.

Well, its a sunny start this morning.

Neil is taking the grand cherokee in to be serviced and MOT'd this morning - not many garages "do" american type cars. We've found one but god knows the ££££.

My car had a flat tyre too. I had driven it on Friday without noticing too - Neil has looked and it needs 2 new tyres.

Luckily the mondeo is a company car so that ones totally free!

Started looking for dlights for October now. i was on the Dibb yesterday and someone said that a lot of Virgins dates for nxt Oct are already sold out - I hope to god she's wrong because we need Saturday flights and they go first
We'll be screwed if we cant get them due to Ellis' school dates.

ps...The final has been a joke from start to finish,i paid a fortune for two tickets 6 weeks ago which i could have bought LAST week for buttons,and then because NOBODY wanted to go to Moscow i thought I'd surprise the kids by taking them with me they denied me a 72 hour Visa and am not prepared to risk getting my kids locked up over red tape if something went astray with our travel plans just to watch a footie match....Luckily for me i never mentioned my plans to the kids.....

PPS....Don't be fooled into thinking the Chelsea end is full,their owner is giving away unsold tickets (THEY HAVE 1000'S LEFT UNSOLD) to his russian friends just so to appear to the football world their a "BIG CLUB"......

I dont really mind who wins to be honest. I'm not really into footie. Neil wants Chelsea to win simply because half the kids round here support Man U instead of a local team like blues or villa. I thought that might happen with ticket prices due to the chaos getting visas and hotels are jammed solid too. Pity its not being held in the UK. Way more people could have gone then and it would have been a sell out for sure.

I see Neils point and yes had the final been played or should i say never been allowed to be played in Moscow in the first place the Final would have been a sell out 5 times over,United could have sold 200000 tickets for somewhere like Wemberly no problem all by themselves.....I kinda wish i weren't going if you know what i mean,BUT it's united so i HAVE TO BE THERE,ask Neil it's a man thing.....

Quick question,ive tried booking a car but everytime i get to the end i get kicked out because it asks for a expiry date on my CC in a **/**/**** format were as our cards over here only give a **/** Month and Year format....any idea's from our more brighter friends here?....

I've never seen those types of fields before. We only have a **/** Month and Year format on ours, too.

Try using the last day of the month and the full year typed out....for example a september 08...09/30/2008 or Feb. 09 would be 02/28/2009...see if it works. The CC expires on the last day of the month on your card...
