OK, I just fixed the link in my previous post, I just heard three very loud booms, could be propane tanks exploding. Did I pick the right day to arrive at our Lake County home or what............This is how my luck goes..........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

News helicopter now over our trailer........:scared1:  :scared1:

That's two hours a day for the BOB thread only. No need to visit those "other" threads Andy. We're the only important one you know.

Stay safe sir.

Hi All......

This dial-up is killing me, not to mention that there is a horrible brush fire only 3 miles away from us, 140 homes in the next town over has already been evacuated. I sent Jeff a pic from my cell phone a little while ago. We were driving into our area when I saw all this smoke, 1000 acres have already been burnt. We are keeping a close eye on the news.

Not sure if this link is going to work, but I was just reading this on the local Fox News Station http://www.myfoxorlando.com/myfox/p...n=7&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=1.1.1

I'm going to try and look back and see what I missed, but I am using my free Netzero account and I only get 10 hours of online service per month.

I must say it is a bit scary around here. Hazel and I stopped at Walmart and bought a new TV and microwave oven for our trailer on our way in(before we knew about the fire). "IF" we are evacuated, the TV and microwave goes in the car with us.

Speaking of cars, I was given a PT Cruiser as my rental.

I'm so bummed, we can't get the local Fox station, so I am missing the AI final..........:sad1:

I set the VCR at home before I left, I just hope it tapes the show........:rolleyes1

Signing off for now, "IF" we make it through the night, I'll sign on tomorrow morning......:wave2:

Andy, David won!!! :lmao:

Well I am not a teacher but I would say no. It's more focused on the story of these people (true story btw) and what they endured. They don't go into huge detail about the actual debating. But it was very good and definitely worth watching at home :thumbsup2

Thanks, Cass! I love watching Denzel Washington. I even liked American Gangsta.

I will watch it soon but I won't buy it. :thumbsup2

I expect to have more than 1 bag per person coming home. IF, and who knows if they will, Midwest implements the extra charge for more than one bag, and IF they charge people who bought tickets prior to that date, I plan on paying the $15. Just easier.

I may look to pack 4 checked bags on the way down to begin with. We can do 4 - 75% bags that we can then go to 100% on the way home. Depends on how Suz does her packing.

Since we are telling DS next Friday (5/30) about the cruise, I'm sure once our friend who is coming in to watch DS for 2 weeks before summer camp starts, leaves, the suitcases will be on the guest bed and the packing will begin - 2 months early. This is rare for us, as we usually pack no earlier than the weekend before and sometimes the night before.

4 for just the 3 of you, wow, I'm just hoping I can get under the 5 for the 2 of us, and yes I am planning on doing some laundry.Been on 8 cruises now and still always overpack :rolleyes1

Good Morning BOB'ers.........

We made it through the night and I woke up at 4:35 this morning, bright eyed and bushy-tailed.............:lmao:

I was finally able to locate and see the last 15 minutes of AI last night, well, the pic on the TV was all that great and the sound was a bit scratchy, but at least I got to hear which David won.

Going to turn on the news and check on the fire in Deerhaven, at NBC station comes in very clear. After I retire and we move down here, we WILL be having cable TV installed!!! ;)

My Best to All!!! :goodvibes

Hi Kids!

Well, after an expensive phone call from my mechanic, an unusally long trip home from work (stupid train that was stuck on the tracks) ,some moron who cut off the guy ahead of me which caused him to drive into a ditch, and coming home to yet another wedding plan crisis, I power up my desktop and guess what I find? Yup!! :headache:  THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!!!! :headache:

Bendy, pass that booze bottle over here please!:sad2:
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I am so sorry.

Hey Andy! How's the weather down there?

Hope the fire smoke dissipates soon. FL can have some of our damp weather!!!
