Glad to see we've persuaded you Cass:goodvibes - you cant miss the party of the year!

The rainforest room is one of those things I have been saying I need to try for the last 3 cruises we have been on. I think this needs to get put on my must do list for this cruise!

Oh, I really want to do this!

And I really want to go!

OK, I'm on my way back to work, will check in later........:wave2:

I did manage to fix and drink a protein shake real quick.........:lmao:

I'd have to echo that statement. Our dining team and Palo servers were GREAT! I think Karen will agree.

We had a really great room host too and he went out of his way to make DS a Giraffe with the towels. No other CM has done that. All have said it could't be done, but Gerry did it. :thumbsup2

I want to Palo again :sad1:

Hi Heather!!

Everytime I read one of your posts, I sit here with a silly smile on my face. You were the first KK'er I met (besides the Wisconsin KKers) and I just can't get the picture of our first hug out of my mind. :cloud9:

I remember hearing Kristin say...."oh, oh....here it comes". She was amazed at all the friendships that were made on that ship and before we even took off.

End of my Sappy Thursday Morning Moment.

Oh yes.....I remember it well:hug:  :cloud9:

ok, I found my list of things I didnt do or want to do again

Didnt do:

Deck 7 - aft sundeck
Sunbathe and have a cocktail on the deck above the pool
cooking demos
martini tasting
character brekkie
room service
Spa
Gym
Exercise class
Rainforest
Movie by the pool
cinema
pool in the evening and hot tub

Do again:

Have fun with all our KK'er friends:grouphug:
Palo - brunch and dinner
Pool party
Lunch lumieres
scoff lots of eclairs with Suz from the coffee place:lmao: (and then pretend we only ate one;) )

Did I miss anything?:lmao:

I barely got chance to look at the navigator. I want to study those more next time round.

Hopefully with the extra sea day I'll get more chance to actually look at the ship this time. It was so overwhelming being the first cruise I couldnt get over it all. I dont think I stopped grinning for a week.:goodvibes

Oh, yeah, I'd want to do this early in the am too.
Hopefully to prevent all the weight gain I get eating all that wonderful food on the ship!

I just hope all the glitches are worked out by then. I told Suz we have to put our excursions/ressies in order so that in case it crashes or fills up, we get the most important things first. I told her it would be the Colombia excursion since all the other stops we could do on our own.

We wait and see:confused3

That was my other guess.

Maybe Lori (and Karen since she has the book also, and anyone else) should leave a few and we could have a scavenger hunt onboard.

Or better yet, we could put one together for the kids. :thumbsup2

That would be a great idea.

Better call and confirm.

Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll put you in the Grand Californian.

Think we wil do near the time. We used DVC points so who knows we might be lucky.

I don't know, I will have dinner with Chris for 15 nights in August and I think I still won't understand it when the cruise is done. :rotfl2:

Just ask him to talk slowly.

Got a question here. Why is everyone making payments? Why not just keep the money in a savings account until it's time to pay? Am I lost on that one???:confused3

Wow MG, I guess I underestimated how wealthy you were!?
You're like our rich english gent Chris!

Two weddings this year and you've still got money sitting in your savings account just waiting for the cruise?!

Can you fund my trip so Bob and I can go?:thumbsup2

Slowly but surely :goodvibes I delivered my second cake yesterday...I have 5 or 6 customers lined up for future orders :goodvibes

Looks like Rob never answered that post huh?? I will have to kick him in the butt :rolleyes1

Did get you get any help with that website at all??? You got my PM right?

Congrats Cass.

Shouldn't be a problem. I understand that if they decide to refurbish they will be doing one tower at a time. If they raze the place, then you may have a problem.

Thats what I thought, thanks Steve.

I've been in the private room at Palo a couple of times for Brunch, and yes the room gets extremely warm. The last time we were in there, thay had a couple of fans running and it was still uncomfortable.

I agree with you Andy...I've done it once and got extremely warm.

Oh, yeah, I'd want to do this early in the am too.
Hopefully to prevent all the weight gain I get eating all that wonderful food on the ship!

I don't remember seeing any classes, but I'm there as well if you find any in the early AM.
