Sorry, she's not feeling good tonight.

Plus, if she ever needs a question asked, she's like, "why don't you ask on the DIS......."

I do fear that if she got on here, she'd post more than me.

What she is not feeling well and you are sitting there playing on the DIS instead of taking care of your wife. I am sorry that just knocked you back down a few spots on the wonderful husband list. :rotfl2:

Well, it's just after midnight here, so I better get to bed.

One last thing, Jeff. Thanks for the gracious open invitation for 4th of July, but we will have to decline. We're headed to WDW on the 12th of July, so we are staying close to home. More importantly, I know how busy you and Suz (please say hi from me) are and we most definitely wouldn't dream of putting you out. So very gracious of you nonetheless.:goodvibes

Well then, besides you and Robin, Walt/Di and Lynn/Chris, I guess we're all getting divorced. :rotfl:

Now see here, there are some more people that will not contribute to the divorce statistics. Scott/Lori, Mark/Janice, Rob/Cass, Sean/Kathy oh and us.

not so fast.....:rolleyes1
tuna has a few posts, i know nuclear scott has posted before. i think pete has too. candyman has. not sure about beckys sean. i know she said he was going to. has neil posted?

Way to go Mike, great minds think alike.

Yeah, there is posting consistently and posting here and there.

Kinda like other things in a marriage. Here and there or routinely. :rolleyes1 :scared1: :rotfl2:

No matter what type of posting they are doing at least they are committed to what they are passionate about or what their spouses are passionate about. :thumbsup2

So I'm looking at the post count competition and here is where we are through 1,430 posts:

233 Andy
324 Jeff
557 Total

108 Jen
89 Karen
55 Shelley
252 Total

87 Lori
30 Tanya
21 Nancy
138 Total

Total of both other teams: 390

Other notables not on teams:
GOS 128
Cheryl N. WI 70
Dyerneeds 61

You know, if I count the 3rd, 4th and 5th posters overall, their total is 325. If I include this post, I will be at 325.

Guess I need a life or a break from the DIS. :sad2:

You said it not us. :rotfl2:

We will be on Dyerneeds team. :cheer2: Go Team Go:cheer2:

DS just went down. I think he'll fall asleep easy tonight.

When he is tired from activities, he too goes down really easy, but 8:30 never happens.

When we're on the ship, he outlast us. We have to draw straws to see who will have to go to the club to get him. I usually lose. :sad2:

What:scared1: draw straws a good husband would volunteer to go get the child from the club so the wife can either sleep or enjoy doing something else:cool1: .

karen- please do some yard work for us!!.

:lmao: I still have hours to do on my own yet:lmao:

You know I think a glass of wine would help those tireds muscles!! :thumbsup2

the 3 glasses I had last night were purely for medicinal purposes only:rolleyes1

Gotta start looking at that weekend before Christmas again

:yay: :yay: :yay:

Yeah, me too Karen. Both knees are killing me today, sitting here with the heating pad across both knees. I feel like I'm 83 today, not 53.........:lmao:

 I had the heat pad on my back last night:lmao: - I feel like 103 this morning:lmao:

Lost 2 more pounds this weekend

:woohoo: :woohoo:

Where did you get your quote from Karen, thats a good price, how is that flying with.
We stopped at a villa last october and having your own pool is just fab. Olivia was still in the pool one night at midnight.:yay:

It was flying with Virgin using Premier travel - they are a sponsor on the Dibb.
I'm so tempted to hire a villa butthen I may never want to return to a hotel again:rolleyes1

there's a Zumba class at the Y on Tuesday nights. :dance3:

Zumba?:confused3 - please explain - not heard of that one

i've got to do 2 bathrooms and kitchen to tile. i figured to start with the smaller bathroom first and if all goes well i can work on the other 2 rooms.

How did your parents like all the painting you did for them?

Nancy - sounds like a great weekend - looking forward to the photos!

I'm kind of looking forward to it - the class description says it's a mix of latin and international dance music - which I really like. I learned the salsa and merengue when I lived in Colombia (y'know, that place where Jeff thinks he's gonna bite the dust) and it's so fun to dance to.

Should have read further down:rolleyes1

You lieved in Colombia?:confused3 - when and why? How many other secrets do you have Jen????:lmao:

We are on the dining plan too. What didn't you like about it?
I was looking for somewhere with a bigger menu. Can't get into Le Cellier and we are already going to Coral Reef. With my mom being on a restricted diet we can't do Mexico or Morocco. May just bag it all and go over to Spoodles.:confused3

We've eaten in Rose and Crown a few times - its nice. I havent tried the french one.

So I'm looking at putting something together for right before Xmas. I can get airfare for $214 (plus I can use one NWA ticket I have sitting around on MW - so only two airfare I have to pay for) and a moderate for $119.20 + tax (if I book directly with AAA, they don't do the rate change on the weekend).

That would be $975 before food, rental car and MVMCP tix.

If I go value, they are only $65.60 per night and I could bring the cost down to $725, a savings of $250. I could do the whole trip for right around $1,000.

Now we just have to see if Suz can get off work and if there are any issues with DS missing 2 1/2 days right before Xmas break.

We'd have to fly at 2:45 p.m. on the 17th, and back home on an 8:00 a.m. flight on Sunday, but it would get us to WDW at Xmas time and when Karen, Neil and Ellis will be there.

Guess Suz and I need to talk through this one.

Book it!!!!!!!!
Book it!!!!!!!!

Book it NOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

:yay: :cool1: :yay: :cool1: :yay: :cool1: :yay: :cool1: :yay: :cool1:

Just had a really bad day with these knees.:headache: By lunchtime, I was ready to take a shotgun and blow these knees off my legs. Right now, I have the heating pad wrapped around my knees because they are so stiff.

ANDY - HAVE YOU TRIED ARNICA GEL? You can rub it on as many times as needed and it really helps me when I'm achey. QVC sell it in litre dispensers.

Hello everyone! Long lost Tink here! I come and read the thread when I can, but you people are hard to keep up with! Is it easier onboard? :lovestruc I just wanted to pop in and say 'Hello' !

Feel better! I'll send happy thoughts your way!

Hi Sheri - lovely to hear off you. Each time you pop into read just say pop on a post to say hello:goodvibes

It doesnt matter if you read it all or not - anything important is on the first post of each thread so dont worry.

:goodvibes

TRIVIA QUESTION

In the mural found on deck 6 midship, Mickey and Minnie are shown. What character's clothes are also shown, but without the character?

edited thanks to my big sis!!!!!

Can I let you know when my book arrives?:lmao:

i think its about time.
the family that DIS's together, stays together.:dance3:

Neil lurks;)

not so fast.... has neil posted?

I set up his account (Neil Mouse) and he posted once:rolleyes: (and that was cos I was standing over him making him type something:lmao:

in that case, i'll guess goofy.:cool1: :cool1: :rotfl2:

I guess Goofy too then:rotfl:

Yes, and her screen name can be BHONB. (Better Half of Number Boy).

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

When are you down again?

We can't take DS out of school too long. This would be 2 1/2 days only (fly at 2:35). It would give us 3 days in the parks. We'd also will be going to MVMCP.

Still unsure if it will happen. It just came up since DS will not miss any school now for the repo cruise.

Just book it already!!:yay: :yay: :yay:

Oh by the way for those interested. I have gained more weight. At last dr. appointment I am at 104.5. .5 more pounds and I beat my pregnancy weight. I can not wait.

:woohoo: Well done Carrie:woohoo:

I'm just contemplating the gym - I could walk on the treadmill or swim and that wouldnt be too energetic... is mostly my back thats aching from all the bending and digging yesterday....I'll see how I feel after brekkie:rolleyes1

I hope tomorrow is a much better day.

Thanks Lori, me too!!!

I went to bed early last night and just got up a little bit ago. My knees are feeling better this morning, so far!!!

I do have the heating pad wrapped around them at the moment, just to try and loosen them a bit before starting my day.

Looks like I have about 7 pages to catch up on this morning.

Good Morning All............

Should have read further down:rolleyes1

I think I mentioned it once before when the repo cruisers were discussing Cartagena, but I'll repeat since we are all such avid chatters :)

My senior year of high school, I lived in Cali, Colombia for 11 months as a foreign exchange student through Rotary Intl. One of the things I experienced was learning how to dance the merengue and salsa from the "natives" - Cali calls itself "the capital of the salsa". Sometime, Ill share the story of how I learned the salsa...it was kind of funny. I also spent one week on holiday in Cartagena - so I was telling Jeff there's nothing to fear.

I'd say either rest or swimming - that will be the lowest impact on your back. Too much strain and you'll really hurt yourself and be out of commission longer.

By the way - you've been caught multi posting again....shame on you, Karen! :snooty: :lmao: :rotfl:
