That's where i always made my biggest mistake i think. I would always go and load up at the store with healthy snacks and never feel too guilty about snacking. This time around I eat 3 sensible meals and very minimal snacking. It seems to work for me. you just have to find what works best for you.
This is what my rules are set by a Dr. .........if it has more than 4 grams of fat I can't touch it, if 4 or under it's mine. Only to a max of 20 fat grams per day. No peanutbutter, Nuts, avacado or coconut. It's very much dependent on fat grams which is good for me since I love carbs. Of course I am sensible about certain things like candy for instance. I love smarties, suckers things like that ( I really don't like chocolate that much) and they don't have fat in them but I know I shouldn't sit and eat loads of it because of the sugar.
It's very hard to keep on track and I have really slowed down now but I feel so much better already 40 lbs lighter.
