Just finished hanging Uncle Walt on the wall, he is just above my 50th Birthday gift from my DW and DD, my "One Share" of Disney Stock.
My girls are big time spenders.........:lmao:

TRIVIA QUESTION

WHat firelocker is located on deck 1 midship, between the 2 staircases?

I've never been on Deck 1 at Mid-Ship. Only Forward or Aft. I have no clue on this one. Does Deck 1 run from Forward to Mid? :confused3

I'm off to go check my Deck Plans now.

Looks like Deck 1 does go to the Mid-Ship elevators. Guess I'll have to go down there next time.

BTW, I didn't know the inside cabins on Deck 1 were Cat 10. I though they were Cat 12.

I also didn't know Cat 12's were all on Deck 2 (again, I thought they were on Deck 1).

Both look really good Andy. :thumbsup2

I bought Suz a couple shares for Xmas right before our wedding. I think due to splits, we have 6 shares now, but still have the 2 shares' certificate. Had it framed at one point. Couldn't tell you where it even is at this point. Might be in the safe deposit box.

OK, now I'm going to bed........:faint:

We;re more than double the next closest team Andy. However, I think they will press us hard tomorrow.

Gotta watch out if they get into a Friday night chat on here.

O.K. I'm off to do work.

I may check back before bed, but if not, talk to you all tomorrow.

Hello eveyone!

Andy, great litho! And I think the livingroom is a perfect place! When Lori and I were growing up our parents had a very nice Minnie/Mickey clock on the fireplace. Most of our pics before prom etc. are at the fireplace with that clock! The clock broke and I have it. I have bought two craft clocks to try and fix it but no luck yet.

Nancy, I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful weekend!

Cath and Sean, glad to know you're still around! Stay in touch!

Go Team LNT! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Is it too late to sign up for BL? Could someone post the link again?

This might be good week since we are on break to get organized. I went for groceries with an empty stomach today and bought way too much--mostly for the kids on break but some healthy stuff for me.

I agree with Lori, no snacks. I also try to not eat anything after 6 p.m. However, the unfair thing is I quit soda and lost 5 pounds (also watching what I eat) over 2 months. My DH quit soda and had a two-day virus and has lost 20 pounds in about 4 weeks. :confused3

Does anyone know anything about b12 vitamins?:confused3

One positive thing about quitting the soda. I feel much better. Alot of my fatigue is gone. I was sleepy all the time. Now I can go on less sleep than before and don't crash as often.:woohoo: :woohoo:

At one point, I checked into buying Disney stock (several years) ago and I was told that I had go through a stock broker whose fee would be more than the share of stock since I didn't "have" a broker. Is this true?

Looks like gas is going up again. They say the price per barrel of oil may go to $125. :scared1:

On the way home tonight, one gas station already raised regular unleaded to $3.699.

I did some quick calculations. If Suz stops driving the SUV (or in her case would that be the SUZ :rotfl2: ), and started driving the Accord I'm driving, she'd go from 16 mpg to 24 mpg (the Accord is a V6, not a 4). If I stop driving the Accord and go to the old Prizm, I'd go from 24 mpg to 30 mpg (still doing good after 12 years :thumbsup2 ).

Based on 20,000 miles per year that I drive and 12,000 miles that Suz does, we'd save over $128 per month in gas.

Guess I need to go get the Prizm fixed and start driving it. :thumbsup2

I knew I kept the old thing for some reason (not to mention it is a great winter car - if I get hit, who cares).

I've been spending some time looking over the RC cruise info. Much more "adult" atmostphere than Disney. Not sure I like it. Also, not many choices for excursions--alot of glass bottom boats. I want to see what is available beyond RC choices.

Actually you can buy 1 share. There is an outfit out there, may even be oneshare.com, and purchase it. May cost you $40 for the trade on top of the share price.

I know some companies let you invest directly with them too. Disney I believe is one of those companies, but not sure if you can do it for just one share. May have to do a "lot" (i.e. 100) or on an investment plan (i.e. so much per month - dollar wise).

DH is considering driving his motorcycle to work--he's already carpooling. His drive is ten miles each way. I'm still driving our mid-SUV but I just have a 3- mile commute. It's the taxi service that slurps my gas $$.:scared1:

Is it just you and your hubby going on that cruise? Isn't it the one to Bermuda?

I'd just tour the island and then find a beach. It looks beautiful there.

That is one cruise I want to do. Maybe June '09 or '10. We have 2 weeks from when DS gets out of school and the summer camps start.

Don't want to go in Winter, Bermuda is too cold.

Not sure where I'd like to sail from - Philly, NJ, or Charleston. I really like Charleston and would spend some time there, but Philly and NJ are really easy to get to from here. NJ would have the bigger ships, but Philly would have some touring we could do before the trip.

Not sure if Baltimore has cruises to Bermuda or not. We can find flights from MKE to BWI for under $120 during some sales.

I'm 23 miles one-way and Suz is 12. Plus all the other running around. :sad2:

May look into carpooling with Suz. I drive past there on the way to work anyways. I would just adjust my schedule so that we can get DS by 5:30. I can easily make the time up at home or one day a week.

It is the one to Bermuda, and it is just DH and me. All the travel arrangements were made by the company that he one the trip from. I've never flown out of the RNK, VA airport, we usually drive to Charlotte or Greensboro to save $200 on each ticket! We're sailing from Newark, NJ.

Touring the island and finding a beach are top on the list. We're there two days. I'd like to see both sides of the island. Maybe if I'd stop dising I could research more!

WOW, we did almost 400 posts in the first day of this thread.

That is over 25 pages. :scared1:

Who was it that said we post a lot when we did 5? They caught us on a tame day.
